Moving On Up

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hi Everyone! You are looking good!

I hate to sound like the Clampetts but my husband and I are moving into the future.

I’m not sure if its because we don’t like change or we are technically lazy but we have had the same phone for years (yes an iphone 4 (not even S) and an old projection TV from many moons ago.

In order to use my phone I basically had to hit it. The lady said the storage was so tight she had to erase everything in order to copy for our new phone.

So don’t be jealous …….but “we got us some new iphones 5E’s”. What a difference. There was a lot of yelling and screaming going on when we realized that we really don’t know any of our passwords and half of our apps are no longer in service but we did it and we are PROUD.

Thank God for the “I cloud” whatever the hell that is.

I even got a new friend to talk to “Siri”. Even though I’m not sure how to make her do things I still like saying “Hey Siri” and have her answer me. I really need more friends.

And the ice cream on the pie is that a month ago we got a flat screen. OK don’t laugh as I know everyone has one or two of them but we just got ours. It’s small but I can’t believe the difference. Crisp and clean. We still haven’t got rid of the projection tv as it weighs a ton and it takes up our whole living room. No one out there saves them do they?

It was always kind of the elephant in the room.

It says its a smart tv but we don’t really know why its smart or what the difference is from a normal “not” smart tv.  Smart just felt like the better choice somehow.

Farm Boy

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Friends.

I’m starting to get jealous of Farm Boy. My husband has been spending a whole lot of time there. Every day I say to him so what’s up for today and I hear I’m going to Farm Boy.

All the products in our home are starting to have the label farm boy on them. Water, beets, coffee…..

It’s getting a bit eerie.

The good part is that things are tasting delicious especially the water.

So the other day when he told me he’s off to Farm Boy and when he asked me to go I said yes this time.

I had to see what all the action was about.

Here’s a picture of me with the giant monkey that guards the bananas. It’s like Disney land there!

It was tons of fun. I love Longos more than Farm Boy but then we don’t have one close by. If you see Bobby don’t tell him I said so.

Here’s a beautiful flower he bought me. It’s called Star of Bethlehem. Pretty eh?

Future Self

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hi Everyone.

I can’t believe we have snow. How strange is that? I told Bobby he has to buy me a pressie because it looks a bit like Christmas. Don’t think he went for it.

So last night I lay my head to sleep (how poetic) and like any other night the spirits start coming usually I just ignore and try and get some rest or tell them to leave me alone but this time it was different.

This lady was very persistent and she was walking towards me. She was dressed in this wonderful silk top (that had a matching long maxi silk top over that went down almost to her ankles) with great shoes and smiling from ear to ear. As she got closer into view I noticed she looks like me. I was a little confused as she gets clearer and sure enough it was me. I asked her who are you thinking maybe a guide or something as I don’t have that outfit or those wonderful shoes and she said “I’m your future self”.

I was trying so hard not to lose the connection so I believe I drifting into a semi sleep but I was very much aware.

She took my hand and lead me into the future. Earth’s future I guess.

It was amazing. I had grandchildren. I visited family. The Psychic Cottage was in a huge house which operated as a café and store and lots of events. There was an apartment over. She told me that this was for convenience that there was a house on water. She showed me everything.

I asked her how old she was and she said 68 (I’m 58 now).

Was it real? I have no idea. She eventually got sick of my questions and I guess I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up with a wonderful feeling. I’m so glad I remembered the conversation. First that I’ll last to 68 and how my children had blossomed even more than they have now. Plus I think I looked better then than I do now.  I guess I should have asked how I do it.

Doreen Virtue has a wonderful meditation which I think is called Manifesting with the Angels and she takes you into your future that you want. It was almost like this but backwards as I wasn’t even thinking about anything like this. If you ever get a chance to do this meditation its a wonderful exercise in asking spirit for what you want.

So if you see me today and I have this weird look on my face (weirder than normal) realize that I saw my future and I like what I see.

Patience is a Virtue

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hi Dear Pals. What’s cookin’? Hope not much its 12:18 am  when I write this.

I realized in the last few days that patience isn’t one of my talents.

My friend Carolyn and I got Charmed Aroma candles for a treat for our birthdays.

If you don’t know what they are let me tell you. You purchase a candle on line and hidden inside is a ring in tin foil. The ring is worth anywhere from $5 I believe and up to a few thousand. You receive a little code and you excitingly put it in and wait for the value of your buried treasure. Kind of  like gambling in the form of candles.

They were delivered to my house and I thought ok she gets first pick because otherwise its not fair. I tell you though I didn’t see Carolyn for a good week and I really wanted to get out my spoon and dig those suckers out!

That’s when I realized that I’m not patient at all.

Maybe another clue is that I can’t be bothered to scratch scratchy tickets. I just scratch the code and put it under the machine. Really I’m going to sit there rubbing off little letters. Ain’t happening?

Both our rings are pretty. Carolyn’s was worth $20 and mine was $50. Really if I saw them in the store I wouldn’t buy them and I’m not that fond of candles but the whole “rig a ma roll” or should I say “ring a ma roll” was pretty exciting.

OK I did dig mine out a bit early with tweezers but it was still fun. I’ll put a picture on my Psychic Cottage Instagram.

Happy Easter

Category: Musings by Sharon

Happy Easter Dear Friends.

Easter has it all doesn’t it? Reflection, transformation, family, friends, bunnies, chocolate couple of days off to think about all this magic.

I was kind of thinking the last few days about manifesting and how come certain things don’t come to fruition no matter how many times we ask for it.

Are we asking wrong? Are we misguided about what we need in our life? Are we asking for a new pair of shoes when we should be asking how we are going to feel when we get those new pair of shoes? “I want to feel beautiful and fancy and walk like I own the world in my new pair of Fluevogs.” Wow not sure where that came from.

I kind of live the idea that if its hard stop pushing (my frustrated head against the wall) trying to get it. I found in my life that whenever I do this “I need it now” and its not happening fast that its probably not meant to be. After all if we knew the way we’d already be there.

I think of all the times that if I got my stubborn way I would have been in somewhat of a pickle and the wonderful things that happened after couldn’t have happened because I’d be back stuck at that place I thought I belonged.

Then when its meant to be “like the Midtown Centre store” it happens with grace and ease. God in action. The universe pulling all the stops to make it happen.

Why is it that sometimes its hard to look at where we are and say “I’m ok right here right now. I’m content until the next dream comes in.” Still having the vision but not being unhappy until it gets there.

And when it gets totally confusing for me I go back to the place that says “It’s all an illusion Sharon! It’s only happening because I created it.” That seems to put me in my place.

Have a wonderful Easter be nice and love as many people as you can because really what else is there.

RIP Rob Ford

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hi Everyone!

So sad Rob Ford is gone. I liked the way he jazzed up Toronto. My husband was way down in the south doing a Marathon and the only reason they knew about Toronto was because of Rob Ford.

He had his moments but don’t we all.

Condolences to his Family on this sad day.

Expect A Miracle

Category: Musings by Sharon

002

Hi Everyone.

This is what my sign says at the Psychic Cottage.

Now I wasn’t anticipating that a fundamental religious person would find this offensive.

Of course I wasn’t indicating that “I” would be the miracle people can expect, it was more that live life as if it is a miracle and to expect miracles all the time.

Oops my bad and yes they showed up. Thank God Donna was at the front minding the store while I was doing a reading. She handled him just fine and very graciously.

It’s fun getting used to mall life.

My Daily Fortune is a Guru

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Souls. How goes it?

I have this wonderful app on my Ipad called Daily Fortune and all I have to do is put my thumb on it to reveal my fortune. Usually its kind of loose but today it was spot on.

It said “Throw out those rags you call shoes and buy a new pair.

It must be real because its even Friends and Family day at Softmoc  this morning!

Diane (my sister) stop laughing, haha.

OK I wouldn’t say my Blundstones are rags but I have to listen.

Actually since getting my Blundstones I never wear anything else. They are like custom pillows for your feet and they look all bad a** to go with it.

Ok I talked myself out of new shoes until next fortune time but it was a spooky co-incidence.

Here is last weeks sign at The Psychic Cottage. I’m switching every Sunday just to freak out the “normies” (if there’s such a thing).  It’s fun being in a mall because absolutely no one expects a psychic in a mall. I can hear people say “omg a Psychic?”. What fun thanks Max for taking a chance on me.

Oh does the fun ever stop!

Tiny Pet Peeve with Tim’s

Hello Dear Friends.

I’m not a whiney person but some things just bother me.

SO I pull into Tim’s today and I’ve noticed lately that when you order a drink and a breakfast sandwich they say “I’ll make that a combo” and I was a little surprised as they usually say “Do you want to make this a combo”. It’s a little confusing because “$0” shows up on the screen.

I didn’t really want a combo but I thought well if its free why not add some unwanted pounds.

Curious as I am I said to the cash person “am I paying extra for a combo?” which she says “yes $0.40”. I’m like I never asked for that and she’s like sorry and that they have been saying that forever. To which I said “naa that’s not true”.

I said ok this time take the money for your tip jar but you won’t get me again.  Funny part is they left in the hashbrowns which I threw out because I really didn’t want them in the first place and maybe just maybe I was a little peeved.

I’ve boycotting restaurants for less than this.

Totally on the big picture this is silly but I’m not going to let anyone push me around.

Lily Gets a checkup

Good morning. I spent my morning waiting for our lovely Lily Mirage to get its check up.

I love this car. We had a blue one before and my husband got in an accident which pushed him into another car and out he walked no harm done. Car was totalled but as long as my hubby was fine. Now we have a white one.

When she was in they said there are two recalls. Does that ever just make you a bit leery? It didn’t sound like much when he explained it and I’m glad they are on the ball but makes you wonder what else is going on in these cars of ours.

When I get in any car I ask Archangel Michael to be there and protect the car and the people in it and the people all around ending with “Archangel Michael with your sword of cobalt blue please protect us” making a swooping motion with my arm.

Crazy probably but it does give me comfort.

Last night I had the craziest dreams. What was up with the planets? They were like nightmares with a bizarre touch.

If they have anything to do with what my subconscious is thinking I’d say I’m a bit messed up!

Nothing else much to chat about. I’m having a well deserved day off.

Be happy.
