Me and my Bright Ideas.

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Everyone. Can you feel it. SPRING! Ahhhhh. God is good.

I was so excited and had a great idea. It was a lovely day and the Grandcats have been stuck up in their apartment all winter so I thought I’d get them some leashes and take them for a walk.

I could only catch Blueberry and she seemed to be able to finagle her way out of the body collar so I thought it’s probably a sign I should bring one at a time. Blueberry won because she was sitting in my lap anyway.

I was wondering why she was just lying there and didn’t move but I thought she would at least walk when we go outside. Guess what cats don’t walk like dogs.

I would carry her for a bit put her down all excited and she would just plop down on the sidewalk. It was like the leash instantly made her into a rag doll. I have no idea what she was thinking.

I carried her around the block putting her down every so often to do per plop thing and that was it. She was so relieved when I brought her back to her apartment and she ran around when I took off the leash.

Some things are just so odd.

Poor Hazel was looking at me thinking oh no I know its my turn next.

Switching Fear into Pleasure & The Movie Superstar

Welcome Everyone.

How are you all keeping out there. The energy seems to be revving up a bit. That’s a good thing. It sure was getting heavy out there.

I watched the other day one of my favorite movies. Superstar. If you haven’t watched it you have to give it a go. It’s hilarious.

Ok, its ridiculous and parts are a little embarrassing but its so funny.

My favorite part is when the two main characters are sitting in church and they get sad so they say they need a break and they pretend they are super models. The one girl says something like “I was just walking down the street and this man comes up to me and says do you want to be a supermodel and I said sure and here I am”.

I’m thinking of this movie because I’m thinking of how our minds can switch and make things ok when a second ago they weren’t. I think its called a paradigm shift. It’s like switching something that causes us fear into something that causes us pleasure.

An example would be a lady at work kept seeing 11:11. She was getting nervous about it. Obviously the more she feared it the more it showed up which is exactly what happens with fear. The lion walks right up to us and says are you scared yet. She asked me about it and I said oh that’s very powerful its the minute when the angels are listening to our prayers. Whenever I see it I stop what I’m doing and I pray for that minute. That’s what I was taught anyway.

Right then and there she did a shift. These numbers no longer caused fear but gave her a moment of pleasure. Now she gets excited when she sees them.

At my church class last week Rev. Joe brought in a hypnotherapist to talk to us. This is exactly what he does. He takes something that makes us paralyzed and changes it into something else. He actually took a lady who had a fear of snakes that almost paralyzed her. You could feel her shake when he talked about it. He turned it around very quickly to be something funny. After that every time he would bring up snakes to her she would laugh. Just being in that class I cannot think of a snake without laughing either. Not that I had a fear of snakes but now I can’t think of a snake in any other way.

Is that all it takes? I know we have to be a willing participant but hey I’m thinking its worth a try.

The mind is an amazing thing isn’t it. It was funny the other day Bobby and I were driving up to Rama and I got out Maggie, my GPS, and it said we would arrive in 15 minutes. Both Bobby and I were excited wow its so close. Even though we knew in our heads that it was more than an hour away we allowed something outside ourselves to override our logic. Finally I thought OH I didn’t put it on day light savings time but for that little bit our minds really thought it was closer then is was. Now you might be out there thinking “Doh” maybe you guys are just not the sharpest tools in the shed (as my friend Terry would say) but it wasn’t that. It was something outside of us that we trusted to be the truth overriding our own logic.

The reason I’m boring you with this is that we really can’t take life too seriously. If things can be changed in an instant just by how we are looking at it then how can anything really be real.

I am obviously taking out of the equation major hardships here although I’m thinking it could work. I’m talking the day to day things from our past or present that we take so seriously and the things that keep us back from moving forward.

So let’s be grateful and all raise our vibration and move forward. Let’s see prayers instead of fear. I really believe Spirit is always listening and the 11:11 is just our reminder to pray not theirs to listen. Nonetheless it never hurts to pray.

Let’s All Be Open to Receive.

Hello Everyone!

What a wonderful day it is. Spring is on its way, finally. Can you believe it? What a long haul of a winter. I thought it would never end.

I have to tell you about my Grandcat, Hazel. (To see more about my Grandcats with pictures see here.)

She goes into heat sometimes and I understand it to be quite uncomfortable so when I go up to their apartment to be with them and visit I usually do a little Reiki on her to make her feel better.

The funniest part is now when I go up she runs immediately from the door to her window seat and lies down on her back puts back her head and  opens her legs and arms so that her tummy is fully exposed for me to do Reiki on her. It is totally hilarious to watch. My other grandcat, Blueberry kind of looks at her like she’s totally lost her nut but she doesn’t care she lies there and even after I’ve done the Reiki she stays there. How funny is that?

I’m learning from my little furry friend and I think we should all be doing that. Opening up our arms wide to the universe and say “Today I am open to receive all the Gifts that are Mine by Divine Right. Thank you Universe.” Would the world not be a better place?

The Midas Touch

Hello my Friends out there in Blogland. How are you today?

Now you might be thinking I’m going to chat here about the winning at the casino I had the other day of Two Thousand Bucks! You got it. I did have the Midas Touch that day but no this is about Daisy, my little car.

I was going to work on Monday and I heard this weird sound. It was like the underneath of my car was dragging. It started out kind of swooshy like when I hit a bump so I thought it was something “in” Daisy but by the time I got a few miles away I knew this wasn’t something in the car. Something was dragging.

I went home instead of work. When I looked underneath there seemed to be this little steel thingy hanging down. It reminded me of the car version of that little thing in your throat that hangs down. The throat thing has a name. A big name. I’ll ask my husband as he had to get his out as painful as that sounds.

So, my husband gets home and says, oh it’s nothing, you don’t even need that part and he attempted to cut it off with steel cutters and not being able to do that bent and tucked it up under something. The whole time I had my mouth open in horror and I’m thinking this doesn’t feel good. With nothing being open for Family Day it was the best offer I had at the moment.

Now I could have got up at 3:30 am and taken my husband’s car, Martin, but I didn’t and I drove to work just fine. No swooshing.

It was when I was half way home when it started. It sounded like I was dragging a bicycle under my car. I was so embarrassed. It was ok when I was going fast but when I was slowing down it was bad.

I had to run home first to let the dogs out and then I drove back to Midas at 460 Taunton Road in Oshawa. I picked Midas because the phone number had 555 in it and that’s one of my favorite numbers. The life of a psychic.

The whole time I’m thinking geez how much is this going to cost. I was kind of holding my breath on this one.

I said to Ms. Tammy (who by the way is just the perfect lady for the job there. You know she’s got things under control) don’t be doing any work until you tell me how much. She’s like no worries sign here which always makes me nervous.

So they take Daisy into the bay and she’s in there for a brief few minutes and then he brings her out. I’m thinking oh no it was really bad and they can’t fix it. My mind was going a little bonkers and the guy comes in and hands me the keys. I’m like what is it? He’s like it’s nothing we took it off. It’s a heat sensor (I think that’s what he said) that is only used in hot climates like California and isn’t really needed here in Canada.

I’m kind of there thinking how much as they didn’t discuss it and he looks and smiles and says $500. I laughed nervously but still didn’t quite get it. Then when I went to see Tammy for the real bill she said no charge. Enjoy.

How cool is that? I went to Midas and they fixed my car and I didn’t get charged.

I love Midas now. I’m going to go there for all my oil changes as they aren’t really that friendly at my other place and they kind of make me nervous like they are doing something they shouldn’t. You know charging for special oil when you real might not be getting that extra special oil.

God Bless Midas, Tammy and the Gang.

P.S. Now I kind of have the urge to drive to California for some reason.

You Have Arrived.

Hello Dear Blog Friends. I apologize for not writing. The energy has been somewhat heavy for some reason and I’ve been feeling a bit murky. I hope everyone is doing great and not feeling this heavy energy that seems to be about.

I had to tell you about my new present that my husband bought me for our anniversary. He bought me a GPS.

I think the gift is somewhat for him as he is a little sick of having me call every time I go out saying “I can’t find it”. I find at night that I can’t see the numbers on houses and just get disoriented and nervous. Now I am happy.

I named my little GPS “Maggie” as it is a Magellan and I thought it went together. She is kind of like having a friend in the car when you are alone and she has saved my butt a few times already. The hard part is trusting her. Do I go with where I think I should go or go where Maggie is telling me to go. I have to learn to trust.

We can learn a lot about life if we apply the same lessons of a GPS. I’ve decided to do just that. I’m going to put my order in to the universe, let go and listen and see where it takes me trusting each step that it is the right way.

I love it when she says “You Have Arrived”. How positive is that? You have arrived at your designated point in life.

I also notice it shows all the banks and there are little money symbols. I use it to visualize my money affirmations when I see it. A money miracle happens to me Today!

I love it. Such a nice gift. My husband is the best.

A Bug’s Life.

Hello my Sweet Friends. How are you all doing? I can feel the February energy sneaking in. With the fear generated from the media recession and it being cold and February the energy is starting to get a little murky. Hopefully it will switch up soon.

So I have another strange story for you.

Today I printed something at work and the weirdest thing happened.

Keep in mind I’m the earliest one there. I get there at 7 am because I don’t do well in traffic. I can only listen to my meditation tapes for so long before the “ok come on let’s go” comes out of me. My road rage slips out before I can catch it.  Nothing drastic more impatience than anything.

I was looking at my sheet I got from the printer doing my work thing when I noticed something kind of gross on it.

I looked more carefully and it was an actual bug that had somehow got in the printer and it was a squished bug, legs and all, with this goo that had come out of him or her (let’s assume it’s a he) via its head and there was a tinge of red which I assume is bug blood. The strangest part is he kind of got cooked on the paper which made him into a piece of art. God Art as all are his (ok I’ll keep with the theme and assume God is a he here) creatures.

Now I could have just went “Egads” and settled at “Euew” and thrown it away, after of course showing everyone at work to get things going, but I started to think about things and how life is kind of like that. One minute you are doing your “bug thing” thinking this is kind of cool and the next minute you could be in spirit saying oops “I wasn’t expecting that one” (I took that line from Hurley on Lost).

I started thinking what was the bug doing in the printer? Did he fall? Did he think there was bug food in there? Was he an adventurous bug?

Then I started thinking about something I’ve pondered for a while that might be a good healing tool and that is “freeze framing” your life.

I started a book on it some time ago and I’ll dig it out and have a look and see where I’m at with it. Maybe the time has come. I think I called it A Slice of Life which can’t be done now because of Dexter’s boat.

The idea is take a freeze frame or slice of your actual life at this moment. What needs to be changed? What needs to stay and you are grateful for? What are your dreams?

Then create another freeze frame or slice in the future and make it exactly how you want it. Then meditate on that future freeze frame slice and make it happen.

Dealing with everything. What you would be doing this actual moment if all this slice was in place. Such fun to do things like that.

I know what you are thinking. Geez it must be hard to be her.  I’d of thrown the bug out and that would have been the end of it.

So there you have it. The Day the Bug Got Squished. Hey that’s a good name for my book?

Tickle Me Elmo.

Hello Dear Friends.  How are you all making out in Mercury in Retrograde. It’s been a strange one that’s for sure.

My dear husband bought me a present yesterday. A tickle me Elmo. It is just so cute. Every time I see one when we are out I have to touch its foot to get it to say “Elmo Loves You”. Then I laugh hysterically.

I came home and it was on the table. My husband is such a sweet man.

It took forever to get out of its packaging but when it started doing its thing it was such fun. If you put in down sideways it says something about helping Elmo up and then when he’s upright he says that you are Elmo’s best friend.

I have no idea how it works.

I know what you are thinking, she’s a grown woman. Ha that’s where I got you. I can be as young as I want. If Tickle Me Elmo puts a smile on my face, why not.

Do something that makes you smile and just blame me and say if Sharon can make a fool of herself I can too.

Prosperity Prayer from Joe Vitale

Hi Everyone. How are you? Are you staying positive?

Joe Vitale is always sending out this or that and today he sent out something that I think everyone should look at. It’s a Prosperity Prayer. You can find it on his blog here. It’s free.

It is just a lovely prayer and goes at finding abundance from every angle. I love it. It sings. I was trying to memorize it on the way home so I don’t have to look at the paper.

The person who wrote it is Will Bowen. You can find his website here. His idea is having a Complaint Free World. Wouldn’t that be great.

So that’s it. Just wanted to tell you about it in case you weren’t on Joe’s mailing list.

Here’s a quote for you:

Exciting Day.

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Everyone.

What an exciting day. History is being made by bringing in the new President.

I’m not a big political person and don’t pay as much attention as I should but something like this is always exciting. I want to say to my grandchildren when I have them that I saw certain things in History.

At work they put a television in the cafeteria and let us watch the inauguration. It was nice to watch every one’s reactions.

I was at the supermarket the other day and this man went kind of weird on me and said “see that man (Obamo) he is going to bring in the New Age and try to make us all one”. I wasn’t quite sure what he meant or why he was so hostile and I surely wasn’t about to ask. The man ahead of him was chuckling. I knew he was relieved that it was me that made eye contact with this angry man instead of him.

It will be interesting to see how everything unfolds.

I Found the Coolest Thing Today.

Hello Everyone. Welcome back to the TPC Blog. I’m so chilly I can’t shake it. Must be the continuous cold weather that doesn’t let up.

So I hope you are doing well and that life is treating you kindly.

I found something really cool today that I want to share. Two things actually.

I was reading this really great blog about doing what you love by Daniel at Daily Blog Tips. It’s about Mondays which have recently been giving me a hard time. He sent me the link so here it is Daily Blog Tips.

When I was buzzing around his site as I like to do I am across a place where you can send your writing to be proofread, etc. It’s called Gramlee. I’m not sure why its called that. They have a little free one you can try and it was really amazing. Fast and cheap too. I know there are a lot of people out there that have so much knowledge that they want to share but their writing sometimes keeps them back.

Not like me I just write what comes out of that floating head of mine and that’s what you get. I’ll give them a run for their money.

So their site is here for you to try Gramlee. Also if you are a talented editor (and hold your breath when you read my blog) then they are always hiring.

A quote for you.
