Divine Travels of the Ha Ha Sisterhood – Day Three – Part One
Hi my Dear Blog Friends. Are you ready to visit the Cabot Trail with us?
I have to tell you the Cabot Trail has to be the most beautiful place I have ever been. It is just breathtaking.
We went whale watching in the morning in a zodiac.
Here’s the boat we went out on. Cute eh? I kept thinking about a video I received on email where this huge whale capsized this little boat. I was brave though and got on anyway.
We had to wear these unflattering suits that made us look like astronauts. They were warm though. Thank goodness for my hat and the gloves we bought at the dollar store.
As soon as we went out the guy that was driving the boat who was a real sweetie said that he had a surprise for us. He said he couldn’t tell us until we were out in the water. So that surprise was that there was a shark out in the water. It was very cool and very “jaws” like when we saw the big fin flying by. We didn’t get a picture.
Then we headed out to the whales. Whales are just so magnificent. I remember when my sister and I went to Salem and saw the whales. They are just so cool.
The pictures are hard to see anything (it just looks like a giant sea monster) but check out the video I put on youtube that my sister did. I tried to put it in this post but I can’t figure it out. It’s above though anyway.
There was a beautiful view of the Abby from the boat.
We went to the abbey but that is for the next blog. OO la la. Something very magical happened there…… I can’t wait to tell you all about it.
We found this little seat up made of nature so Diane and I asked the guy sitting their so peacefully if he would get off of it and let us sit there for our picture. He very kindly obliged us. It’s a family tradition when you are in a plane and it is just going up in the air to link your baby fingers so we did it on our little stone seat too for some reason.

The Shack
Welcome Dear Blog Friends. How are you this crispy cool morning?
I’ve been addicted the last few days to this amazing book called “The Shack” by William Paul Young.
I’ve been drawn to this book for some time. When I go into a book store it usually jumps out at me and I’ve been wanting to get it. Lo and behold my good friend Carolyn’s husband Paul said he just finished it and lent it to me to read.
I really like the way it is written. I’m still not finished but it is a good read. Talks a lot about forgiveness even when something is unforgivable.
I believe you can get it at The Violet Door in Bowmanville. If not Joanne & Brian can order it for you.
It’s an amazing read.

Divine Travels of the Ha Ha Sisterhood – Day Two – Part Three
Hello Everyone.
We are still in Cheticamp this day. Day Two seems to be quite a full day I’m thinking as it is spread out into three blogs.
Please don’t grow tired of our trip. There are lots of fun things along the way.
So after the “haunted scarecrows” we saw a lovely church. It was beautiful. Not sure if we just had to pee or we really wanted to go in there but we stopped. Here’s a picture.
We went in the church. It was somewhat scary with bloody jesus and other statues and tons of candles in there but fun nonetheless. I rang the bell. Check it out on youtube. (The thing is I can’t figure out how to move it around so you have to watch it sideways. Story of my Life.)
(I should be careful here as a man at the flea market told me I was a spawn of the devil and was going straight to hell for being a psychic. Whew, I’m so glad that the God I know isn’t as judgemental as his. Geez Louise.)
Now the church had a little mini me church beside it. It was a bit peculiar I’m thinking but kind of cute. See it here. Diane was hiding behind it.
So after that we head back into Cheticamp and walked along the pier. I think we found Dexter’s container. Here’s a picture of it. I was scared to peek in.
Then we went to dinner at Gabrielle’s which was delightful and headed home to the Motel to get a good night sleep for tomorrow which was an amazing day. You’ll have to wait though!

CIBC Run for the Cure – 2010
Howdy Friends. What’s cookin’?
Today is the day we went to the CIBC Run for the Cure. It was a 5K run. It was the celebration run at the end of my course at The Running Room.
Here’s a youtube video of us heading out to the run. I’m having such fun with my little video on the camera we bought
I’m kind of glad it was somewhat of a loosy goosy run because there was no time or anything and if you walked, ran or crawled or for that matter went home to bed no one would notice. I ran for a bit but I really wasn’t into running the whole way. It was freezing and I mean freezing. I wore a t-shirt for some strange reason known only to the good Lord above. I think I needed a snow suit. I did a few 10 minute runs but mostly walked. Bobby came back and met me after running the 5K and he said he saw me strolling along looking at the landscape.
I started running near the finish line to look like I was somewhat trying.
My team from the Running Room ran over the finish line with me. That was very cool. Lesley was our coach for the Ladies Learn to Run and she’s the best. Very thoughtful and at the end she gave us a cool present to wear around our neck and attach a picture.
All the way Bobby is saying, what was your time. I explained to him that it doesn’t really matter and I surely don’t care. Is it only me or does it really matter what time anyone runs in? I know it matters for the Boston Marathon and other things but a fun run shouldn’t be that serious.
I said to Bobby listen “If I came in first or last I’m still me.” He doesn’t get me.
We met Bobby’s sister, Kimmi, and her daughter, Sahra, son, Jason and beautiful granddaughter, Ashley at the run. Here are some pictures.
I especially love this picture of Kimmi, Jason & Ashley at the end of the race. Too cute.
There was a group that had on the back of their shirts “Too Blessed To Be Stressed”. I thought what a great saying. They let me take a picture.
So that’s it. I did my first 5K run/walk (lol) and it was lots of fun.

Divine Travels of the Ha Ha Sisterhood – Day Two – Part Two
Good Day Dear Friends! Welcome to The Psychic Cottage Blog.
The last blog brought us to when we were leaving Pictou and heading into Cheticamp.
On the road again.
We stayed that night at Merry’s Motel. It was a quaint little room. Clean with a friendly couple that ran it. I think my sister freaked out the husband a bit. He just kind of looked at her and you could see the panic on his face like what is she going to say now and how am I going to keep a straight face. My sister has the funniest sense of humour and no one is safe around her. We had a great room that looked onto the pier. Yellow doors are always welcome in my world.
After we were settled we went out to look around the area and came across Joe’s Scarecrow’s. It was dusk and it totally flipped me out. We were all alone there and I said to Diane let’s get out of here. She was taking pictures and walking around and I’m totally imagining the worst horror flick of all time and one of them coming alive and killing us and we are tomorrow scare crow’s. I know I have a very active imagination but I couldn’t help it. Check it out.
It’s a total must see and don’t forget to drop some money into the container to keep it going. It just gave me the willies. It could have been the time of day and we were new in town and my imagination or something. I was relieved when we were back in the car with the doors locked. Diane was laughing at me the whole time.
Ok I’ll have to continue Day two in a Part three as things seem to be acting up with too many pictures.

Motivation, Passion & Cupcakes at The Violet Door
Good Evening Everyone. How are you this delicious night.
We had a Motivation, Passion & Cupcake Inspirational Get together at The Violet Door tonight in Bowmanville.
Check out the Cupcakes. The were provided by Cuppies by Chris. Delicious.
I found a little lotus container and put my cupcake in for fun for a picture. Kind of looked spiritual.
Here’s what a few of the people that came to the event said about it.
Check it out on youtube here.
The room at the Violet Door is really nice. I like the energy. I can’t wait to start doing readings there.
Thanks Joanne & Brian for the Opportunity and thanks everyone for joining me for the get together.
In the next few weeks we are doing our next one. It’s going to be on astrology and we will discuss everyone’s astrological chart. I will need to know who is coming through before so that I can prepare the charts.
I got the cutest little cupcake book from The Violet Door. I’ll take one of the quotes from there.

Charlotte’s Web
Good Evening Everyone.
I just went to let out the dogs and I had the light on outside and there was this humongous spider web and spider. I have a camera now so you will get to see what excitement I find throughout the day.
Holy Cow! Check it out. It has to be about an inch big and its puffy and round and hairy! How could something that has silk coming out of its butt be so ugly?
It almost got a moth when I was taking the picture. God is so funny sometimes isn’t he making strange little creatures like that. Although they probably think we are strange.
Now I’m a little creeped out by it.
Song for you:
“The itsy bitsy spider
climbed up the water spout.
Down came the rain
and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun
and dried up all the rain.
And the itsy bitsy spider
climbed up the spout again.”

P.S. When I showed this to Bobby he said it means career opportunities. Oh ya!

Get Your Mojo Working
Hello Dear Friends. Welcome to The Psychic Cottage blog. I hope lovely things are happening for you on this wonderul day the Creator has provided for us.
You all know I love Venus Andrecht. I think she is the best psychic that exists on Earth today. She has a way of making life an easier go.
Venus does these cool things called Mojo’s that her Mom did when she was young. She said if there was lets say a problem with love she would mention it to her Mom and her Mom would jump up and say “MOJO MOJO” and start shouting positive words and different sounds in a very lively manner that would make everyone happy and would put them in a frame of mind for the problem to be taken care of.
Venus always does these fun mojo’s on her television show and radio show. I remember once after doing one for a man on the radio she said now how do you feel and he said “the truth is I feel a bit wobbly”. That’s exactly how they make you feel.
Now the reason for my telling you all this is that Venus has recorded these mojo’s for us and is selling them on her site for your MP3. I got them and they are so wonderful. I listen to them and dance around the house smiling and laughing. The recordings are done professionally with so much magic in them between the music and the little child laughing at the beginning who I am assuming is her granddaughter. On one of them, I think its the lucky mojo, there is a man’s voice that says “Oh ya” or something that makes me laugh so much.
I believe there is a special at the moment if you get them all together you pay a little cheaper then if you bought them all separately. Although they are not expensive anyway and so worth it.
I think I’m going to play the Happiness one at the beginning of my Motivation, Passion & Cupcake Inspirational Get-together to get everyone happy and smiling and in the mood for healing. Set the mood.

Divine Travels of the Ha Ha Sisterhood – Day One (Part 2) & Day Two (Part 1)
Hello Everyone. Welcome to the Psychic Cottage Blog. I have a feeling these blogs are going to go on until my next vacation as I’m taking this long to get them out.
So we haven’t travelled very far yet we are still in Pictou.
We stayed at the Evening Sail Bed and Breakfast …….
Ironically (or I’m sure my sister arranged it that way) that is the name of the street where we grew up near Jane & Finch. Before it was Jane and Finch. The mall was actually a field. Hard to believe eh?
(My sister told me about a cool story about the colour of the building and how it represents long time ago how they would use everything from the whale and the blood to paint the houses but I could find nothing on line about it. If anyone knows about it let me in on it. Although I’m glad they used all the whale it still sounds somewhat creepy to have your house painted in blood. Reminds me of a horror flick.)
Check out the suite. It was so so beautiful. There’s a nice orb over my head in the corner while I’m doing my work. Kind of cool.
All I could think of was Jenny and the City Cottage when I was in this room as I thought she would love it so much. I want a bed like that. Isn’t it wonderful?
So we went out on the town for a bit and we came across a lovely little store called Casper Gifts and Crafts. The cutest thing happened in the store. My sister kept saying that the owner looked like someone and wondered if she knew her. The owner said that everyone thinks she looks just like Elizabeth Manley. My sister realized that this was it and why she looked so familiar. Here’s proof. She let us take her picture. Diane surprised me and bought me a sweet little witches’ hat broach from the store. Our mascot wore it throughout the trip. I’ll show you our mascot later on.
We went to bed early snuggled in our fancy beds with the fire place low after watching some movie about an italian boy and then the big treat in the morning was breakfast at the Evening Sail.
Yum Yum. You won’t believe the spread they put on. She did tell us that it was family style and boy what a family. The table was huge. We were a bit late so I didn’t want to get a picture when everyone was eating but check out the table. They said that when they bought the Bed and Breakfast that the table came with it and apparently it is two tables put together so it stayed where it was and was only moved when they cleaned which I’m thinking is continuously as the place was imaculate.
Evening Sail is owned by a Mother, Gail, and Daughter, Michelle team.
Now let me tell you about the breakfast. Oh I would so stay there again. It was so delicious. Before breakfast was served they had juice, coffee, tea, fresh muffins, amazing jam and cereal. Other stuff I can’t remember too. Then they served to each of us a plate of this quiche that was like over 3 inches high with a bowl of fruit and a scone that was just beautiful with candied sugar on top. Oh my mouth is watering as I’m writing this. They are well known for their waffles too. Gail sat at one end of the table and Michelle sat at the other and they shared their many stories about the area and kept the conversation going. It was delightful! Oh I so want to go back.
There was a property next door to theirs for sale and I said to my sister they should buy that and open a little tea room because they sure know how to cook!
We gathered up all our belongings after breakfast and headed out to Cheticamp.
Stay tuned for more exciting magical stories about our trip!
