I’m so Proud.
Hi Everyone.
What’s new in your World? I hope this blog finds you having fun.
I have to tell you I am so proud of my husband.
As you remember from my blog of some time ago my husband joined The Running Room.
Everything he does he does with gusto. I do love this about him.
He started out on his own with his bright green shirt running his short little run but now he is running like 18 kilometres or more. He is also training for a run called Around the Bay which is I think 30 kilometres.
How so very cool is that?
Running sounds very spiritual however there isn’t enough noni juice in the universe to get me to run 18 kilometres on a Sunday afternoon for fun. No way.
To all you runners out there including our good friends Ralph and Rod.. “Way to Go”. Run Safe!

Newsletter Madness
Hello Dear Friends.
Welcome to the TPC Blog. Isn’t it great out. I’m thinking that winter forgot about us. Oh ya. That’s a good thing. I should bite my tongue on this one really as we will wake up tomorrow to ten feet of snow.

How’s everyone keeping with the energy out there. It’s heavy, then light, then heavy. It’s hard to get a handle on it isn’t it.
So I have to tell you the fun I’m having preparing the first newsletter for The Psychic Cottage. It’s such a blast. I thought I wouldn’t have any contacts but when I started going through my emails from people who have contacted me I have hundreds! What fun. I can’t wait until you see it.

Barefoot
Good day everyone. Welcome to the TPC Blog.
The other day I was chatting with my Hubs about something or other and we were talking about bare feet and he reminded me about something I told him long time ago about an old boyfriend of mine when I was young.
Now you won’t believe this even if I told you but when I was a teenager a lot of people walked around in public with bare feet. It’s not something we would do today and personally I can’t remember doing it myself but it was something that was done.
I was reminded about this time when I was in the hospital and my boyfriend or maybe he was my friend at the time showed up at the hospital with no shoes on.
My father was furious! He couldn’t believe that someone would have the audacity to do that. Looking back it sure was an odd thing to do and totally unhealthy at that.
This guy would walk everywhere barefoot. I wonder what he does today? Interesting thought. I am wondering what he would do at school? Was it allowed back then to go to school with bare feet?
Does anyone else remember this time or was it something that was just happening in my little dysfunctional world at the time. Maybe it was a hippie thing?

Oops!
Hi Everyone.
This will teach me for ordering a computer during Mercury Retrograde.
I got a call last night saying that my Pink Dell was on its way! Who Hoo. I was home today anyway so it worked out.
I waited here all day and no laptop. Calling around I found out……it showed up to the warehouse soaking wet! Unbelievable.
Actually even though this is kind of a sad thing to happen I’m somewhat relieved as I was horrified to think that my Dell was made during Mercury Retrograde and was it going to bring with it a lifetime of being a lemon.
Now the Universe has switched it and my new Dell is being made as we speak. So I need to wait a little longer but hey I won’t have to worry as much.
It would have always been in the back of my head. What was I thinking I have no idea?
That’s it for now. Just keeping you posted on Delivery. So tonight we will have the CB radio show again. Static City. That’s ok. Worse things have happened.

My Lavender Sister
Welcome to the TPC Blog. I’m so glad you could come visit.
I am very grateful to have many blessings in my life and I wanted to share with you one of the gifts that God gave me in this lifetime and that is the gift of my Sister.
My Sister, you know her on this blog as Lavender Lady, is one of those generous wonderful people that walks our Earth.
I can’t imagine my life without her as she graces me with her sisterly existence.
Lavender Lady is the keeper of the pictures for our family so she is always sending funny pictures to me. She got that job because she is extremely organized. I am forever calling her saying can you send that picture when this or that happened. She is also the families’ creator of poems.
Check out this picture she just sent of us. Not sure where we were headed but we were happening.
The funny part is my sister probably looks younger today and she’s 60. Always a knock out that one.
Check out the land in the background. You aren’t going to believe where that land is. It’s where the Jane & Finch mall is located now. Times sure change. I grew up there but it was all land back then.
Lavender Sister always had the coolest cars growing up. Austin Minis, TR4’s and I remember she had a carmengia.
She would drive us everywhere. I remember once we had a bunch of us in the Austin Mini and for some reason I remember we looked up and there was a fire engine coming right for us with its siren going. I guess the music was too loud. We survived though.
My sister loves Lavender. Her dream is to have a little store that only sells Lavender. She has a name for it but I won’t share with you as I don’t want it to get grabbed up. She said if she is ever sick and only has a little time left she wants her husband to paint all the walls lavender, have tons of lavender all around her and everyone to come visit. Not that she’s going anywhere as the world isn’t a world without her in it.
Weird part is my Grandmother used to be the Lavender Lady at the Exhibition just inside the horse building. Family thing I guess this Lavender.
So I guess today I just wanted to share my sister with you. Her picture allowed me to remember how so very lucky I am to have my Lavender Sister in my life.

Everything My Heart Desires.
Hello Dear Blog Friends. Welcome to The Psychic Cottage Blog.
(You may need a road map for this blog. It’s ALL over the place. Please don’t judge, ha ha.)
When I pulled out my wishes for the last year there was one thing that remained outstanding. My Pink Dell Laptop. This has been on my list for forever and I have pictures of it everywhere around the house to manifest from and on December 31st it still had not arrived.
There is a big “but” (no not my butt) to this story. On January 1st I think it was, The Shopping Channel had it for sale. It was a $1200 laptop for $977 and it had everything I wanted. BINGO. I love it when a plan comes together and its pink. I have this pink thing if you haven’t noticed.
Now I know why I couldn’t manifest my Vivienne Tam computer because the Universe was planning for something better this wonderful laptop with everything but the kitchen sink on it.
The funny part is I’ll probably use 1/100th of its features but that’s ok. It’s there if I figure it out.
Sometimes manifesting is like that. You wonder why something you want isn’t coming to you but then you realize that the Universe is providing something even better.
Now instead of my radio show sounding like I’m on a CB with the static from our home ma bell phone you will have a crystal clear wonderful Skype voice coming from the computer. I can picture it now with my funky pink dell computer and my earphones. Oh yes. God is good. Plus it will allow me to do skpe psychic readings. My website is now being changed by my web site designer extraordinaire Mouth Media to allow for these readings. Woo hoo!
What we put out always comes back to us. Always. Sometimes we just have to wait a little.
So this leads me to my latest dilemma. I bought a 17″ one for some reason (bigger is better I guess) and when I brought out my beautiful laptop case that I bought when I was “acting as if” my new dell isn’t going to fit! I’m at a loss for words. The case was perfect. More for my Soul Cleanse event I guess.
Do you know how hard it is to buy a laptop case for a 17″ laptop? Oh yes they have the creepy ones that executives use. All serious like. The funky ones though are nowhere to be found.
I do like this one but I’m not sure if the wheely thing is for me (I surely will lose patience with that). Plus it is outrageously expensive if it is even available in Canada.
So as my mind always does when it hits a brick wall I create another way, I thought “hmmm my husband is a leatherman should it be so hard to design one?”.
Then I thought wouldn’t it be so cool to do up the funkiest case on Earth with peace signs, 70’s writing, four leaf clovers, flowers and everything my heart desires? My mind is flying. All Ed Hardy like.
(I love Ed Hardy. His work makes me want to get a tattoo but I’m way too sucky. Geez, I change my mind like the wind so it would have to be temporary or a belief that never leaves me I guess like my Faith. I think Faith only left me once or I left it. It was not a nice place to be.)
On my I’m sure wearing my heart on my sleeve today.
Speaking of that I did a reading once on a woman who is now a friend of mine and i said “you wear your heart on your sleeve” and she pulled up her the arm of her shirt and sure enough there was a heart tatoo. Kind of fun. It’s true too she does wear her heart on her sleeve.
See what I mean…roadmap needed.

Daisy and the Three Honda Pileup
Good Morning my dear and wonderful Friends. Such a wonderful day to be Alive.
I am especially grateful for this morning as yesterday my husband and I were in an accident on the 401. Imagine that. Mercury in Retrograde at its best.
Now I’m never in a hurry and I never get excited about driving I just do the speed limit and go about my merry way. I stay back and I’m always watching. I was in an accident long time ago and since then I’m very cautious. Well doesn’t this lady decide to STOP on highway 401 in the middle lanes. Yes stop. No deer, no ball or little children jumping out in her direction, nothing. She just stops. For the love of God what was she thinking.
The lady behind her swerves to the right and then my brakes are on as hard as I could but I went into the back side of the one in front.
I was freaked out as my husband was in the passenger side. He is insisting (jokingly) that I did that on purpose. I said what would you have done? His response was “I wouldn’t have been in an accident.” Funny guy.
The whole thing has weird all over it. One my husband’s car wouldn’t start in the morning. He had an engagement at a church to go to so I said take mine. He doesn’t like driving my car so I said ok I’ll drive you.
Who gets into an accident coming from church?
The thing about car accidents is that they always have a direct impact on your energy. Someone up there wanted both of our energy to be shifted. So when I think of it that way I am wondering what is on the agenda for the near future.
The lady that stopped pulled over with us. Jumped out. Said I have no damage and took off. Hello? Thank goodness we had all her information except her shoe size before she did the dash.
So my Friends be extra careful out there driving and remember to ask St. Michael or some protection to be with you during this period of Mercury in Retrograde.
I am a little peeved at this woman for deciding to stop and have a little break on the highway but I guess there is always a bigger plan. Who knows maybe she had to see who was calling her on her cell? Meow.

Power of Nine
Hello Dear Blog Friends. How are you this night?
I’m just getting over an awful outbreak of the dreaded cold sore. They have gathered under my nose and I look like the evil little man from history whose named started with H.
It’s terrible to be psychic also as you can read peoples thoughts when they are thinking Egads what happened to you. Maybe its just because I’d be thinking the same thing so I know what they are thinking.
On a lighter note I’ve been thinking about how hard it is to do things sometimes. You know getting started on cleaning that room or just finishing something you don’t want to do.
I read somewhere that you should move nine things in your house if you want to move forward or if you want to do something do nine things towards it.
It’s strange I have been doing just that and I’m noticing little changes.
If I walk into a messy room I clean nine things. This usually lines me up for completing the task.
I know all you Martha’s out there are thinking why do you have a messy room. Well because I do ok. Ha Ha.
So if you are stuck in something remember the number nine to get you out of it. Give it a go.
