Cupcakes – The Yummiest Food
Hello Dear Friends. I hope this day brings you joy.
I was reading on the net this morning about the sweetest lady (pardon the pun) who does bike rides and along the way goes into bakeries and tests cupcakes. It’s for women only. Here’s the article.
I think its a great idea. I love bike riding and I love cupcakes! My favorite cupcakes in the whole world are at Hanks Bakery in Port Perry. Oh ya. They are like the kind you used to get when you were young. Sweet sweet sweet.
My favorite one is pink icing. Oh now I want one.
I have an old fashioned bike, red. Bobby got it for me one summer for my birthday. It’s beautiful. I put a lttle wicker basket on it. I was driving it all around until one ignorant guy said “don’t pop a tire”. I was horrified (the Big O sometimes isn’t the classiest of all places) and never went on it again. Apparently sitting on the porch drinking and shouting at a nice lady on a bicycle is a better past time, meow!
This lovely cupcake lady also does websites and illustrations that are so cute. Happy D Designs.
Some people are just so damn adorable eh?
Hyedie thank you for being you.

Welcome to The TPC Blog. I’m so happy you could come.
Today is my younger boy’s birthday. He is 21 today.
I love both my Sons. They teach me so much in life and I’m honoured that they picked me to be their Mom.
I’m sure there are days (years?) when they wish they had a Mrs. Cleaver Mom instead of a crazy psychic Mom but I know there is a plan for all of us to be in this lifetime together.
I’m forever grateful that my two Sons are best friends and have each others back. I don’t know what I would do if they didn’t get along.
Both my boys have many gifts and a day doesn’t go by when I don’t acknowledge how blessed I am to have them in my life.
When I was pregnant with Michael I never doubted what his name would be. I’m not sure where it came from but I knew he was to be Michael.
I know now why he suits his name. St. Michael was a warrior as is my younger boy. There is no fear in him. He walks through life and comes out the other side more determined as each event unfolds. I was not surprised when he showed up with a tattoo of St. Michael down his whole arm.
He’s been through more in his 21 years then most people go through in a lifetime if ever. He appreciates each minute of each day as a result.
Michael is forever correcting me when I say something negative. He lives life to the fullest and very much lives in the present.
He has a deep true sense of God within him. There is no doubt ever about where we came from and what is to be accomplished in this lifetime. He tells it like it is.
I’ve never seen anyone manifest the way he can. When he was young he would laugh if I put some kind of negative words into something he wanted trying to soften the blow of something not coming his way. He would just laugh and say you know I can do this. He has carried this with him all his life.
His first words when moving into a new house were “where is the wish wall (vision board) going”.
I would love to say that he has this sense of God within from who I am but I really cannot say this. I believe it came with him when entering this lifetime.
He came through to teach me and for sure to blaze the way for others. This I know for sure.
So dear Michael Happy Birthday. I’m so proud to be your Mom. God Bless you and thank you for being you.

Dear Blog Friends. So glad you could come and visit.
Is it hot enough for you? Holy Cow its like a million degrees out here in Ontario. I wouldn’t have noticed really but I went to Visit my wonderful Dr. Angelface this morning and Daisy doesn’t have air and only one window works. I was ok when I was buzzing along but when traffic hit it was suffocating.
Life is really really great though. If that is one’s only problem in life I’m thinking my life is a breeze.
Bobby and I went to the flea market they have at Canadian Tire on holidays like we always do and I saw a boomerang for sale. I didn’t buy it but I got to thinking about how cool a boomerang really is and what a great metaphor it is for life and energy and of course our thoughts. Not only that but it is such a fun word to say. It almost tickles.
We throw out energy (good or bad) and it comes back to us. It is one of the Universal Laws. It’s that simple.
I receive daily a wonderful affirmation from Anne Marie Evers. In one of her recent daily affirmations she said to greet each day with a wonderful affirmation. Throw your arms up and do it.
I’ve been doing it daily and whenever I get the urge really and I feel so good. I can’t wipe the smile off my face. People are wondering what I’m up to. Just in case you see me with my arms in the air smiling and looking up to the sky and going around in a circle don’t call the authorities its just me doing my thing.
I’m sure its a combination of several wonderful things happening in my life but it sure feels good to act silly and light. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
Be Happy and Silly Dear Friends. Thank you Anne Marie Evers for being you!

Good Morning everyone. Happy long weekend. I love this weekend.
Yesterday I met a client at the shop who is more of a friend than a client. She has been with me for many years. She brought me the most beautiful birthday gift.
As you know I have a passion for yellow doors. I’m not sure where it came from really.
Rebecca walks in with the most beautiful painting of a yellow door that speaks volumes to me. I freaked out as you can well imagine.
Is that not the most kindest thing you have ever heard of? She is so wonderful. Her last visit she brought me a dream cup. I always use it for my tea each day as it helps me to realize how lucky I am not only because it is inspiring but that she gave it to me.
It always amazes me that my clients are so wonderful and how honoured and lucky I am to have such great people around me to share my life with. The best part about this is I seem to meet new and wonderful friends daily. Like how cool is that?
I just want to take a a moment to Bless everyone in my life and to thank them for being there for me and with me. God is good.
Thank you Rebecca for being you.

Hello Dear Blog Friends. How are you tonight? It’s a wonderful night.
Today was a delightful day. My husband took my Mother-in-Law and I out for a dinner and show for my Mother-in-law’s 65th birthday.
It was such fun. Thanks Bobby!
I also got caught with my hands in the cookie jar.
We go into Lone Star and there is a bowl of mints. I always grab a bunch for Bobby as he loves mints. Personally I don’t like mints (except for Bob’s Mints, pardon the pun) but for him I grab them. So don’t I have my hand full of them being very discrete and we are almost at our table and being in an open space, wood floor, with tables all around I go to put them in the pocket of my new coat. Now this coat does have pockets but instead of the pocket I put them under the belt and basically into thin air and the candies went flying everywhere.
So I immediately crack up laughing in this loud cackle which makes everyone look and Bobby and my Mother-in-Law and the waiter as well as the Waitress that was being trained all burst out laughing. My face was so red while I was picking them all up off the floor and shoved them in my pocket. Good thing I only grabbed 5 and not 45.
That could only have happened to me.
I immediately looked around and said OK no one got that on a phone camera right I don’t want to be on youtube with this one.
I slide over to the wall seat and layed low throughout dinner. The waitress said I could have a handful of mints when I leave and not to worry about it.
Isn’t that hilarious.
After we went to see Oceans. It was so good. Amazing really. I loved the words at the end. Bobby was so tired he snored through the whole thing. I really enjoyed it as did Joan.
Happy Birthday Joan. Thanks for being you.

No commentsWalking after Midnight
Look at me! Two blogs in one day. I really should do something productive instead of searching the internet for interesting things.
Nonetheless I found the coolest thing on my travels. There is a young girl Hailey who has started a company called Damn Heels and she has the coolest website. You know how I love my branding.
These little ballet shoes are for when your feet have had enough of the high heels and they are ready for some comfort. I was thinking about Hailey and the Patsy Cline song came ringing in my head “I was walking after midnight” hence the title of this blog.
Not only are these little adorable flats practical but so very convenient as they fit in your purse and then they turn into a little bag to carry your heels in. Like how cool is that? (I have to tell you though mine will probably get more use as travelling slippers as my days of midnight walks in high heels are few and far between.)
Someone is getting it right. Do they come in pink yet?
Congratulations Hailey! Success looks good on you.

No commentsJust Do It
Happy Sunday to my Dear Friends out there in Blogland. I hope this wonderful day is treating you kindly.
I was listening to Venus (who you know I adore) on the Mojo Television Show she has with her daughter Summer (FlowDreaming) and she said something that totally inspired me. She was talking about how we all have these great ideas but we don’t do anything about them. Sure we talk about it to whoever will listen (sometimes of why we can’t do it) and we imagine it in our heads and minds and dreams but for some reason something always stops us.
The excuses are big and real really but they have to go if we want to get to where we want to get to.
We are far from alone in this one. I’m sure there are tons of people, including me, that if they acted on one small thing or even got someone to help them that things would just happen. Now I’m not talking here about when something isn’t ripe yet. This is a whole other matter. If something isn’t ripe no one can make it happen.
On Venus and Summer’s show (link here) Summer said that if you aren’t there yet just pretend that you are practicing. She said that Venus taught her that when she was young. Talk about taking the pressure off something. What an amazing idea. We spend enough time practicing what we don’t want to happen why not practice what we do want to happen.
So that’s it I’m getting off my butt and taking on a project. How about you? Are you in? I’m thinking the mojo and flowdream on their show really worked as I am feeling really inspired!

Happy Birthday Bobby
Good Morning Dear Friends. How is your world? I pray your dreams are coming true.
It’s my husband’s birthday today. I wanted to take a moment to say Happy Birthday Bobby!
Bobby as I call him even though he answers to many names is a totally cool guy. I think what I love about him the most is his conviction for making life happen.
Last year was a big one for him. He decided that he wanted to start running. You will remember my blog about it from May of last year.
Now he is wanting to run a Marathon and has completed the 30 K around the Bay. Not bad considering his age. I’m so very proud of him.
He sets his goals high and always does everything to make them happen.
We have a really great life together and the best part about Bobby is that he makes me laugh constantly. Life is good.
Bobby, Happy Birthday to you and thank you for being you. Love you!

Good Morning Everyone. How are you this glorious Day that the Universe has provided for us to play with.
I was zooming around on the internet this morning and I saw an article about this fellow, Neil Pasricha, that started a blog called 1000 Awesome Things.
You have to check it out its such fun. He even has a book out now called The Book of Awesome. I can’t wait to get it.
What a wonderful idea. It’s like a way of feeling good when you are down or feeling better when life is sweet. The blog itself is such fun reading about all the wonderful things that make people happy. Strange little things that we take for granted like clean t-shirts, finding money in your pocket, things like that.
I’m so happy for Neil. Anyone who spreads joy around is an Angel in my eyes and that’s exactly what he is doing. Finding joy in the small things is our way of finding the big important things.
Congratulations Neil and thank you for being you. Success looks good on you.

No commentsHow are your Knees?
Hello Everyone.
How are you this delightful day?
I was thinking today about something that happened when my older boy was a little guy.
He loved and still loves the Boston Bruins. I took him to go see Bobby Orr and get an autograph. He was a little guy I remember his head barely reached the top of the table. My Son patiently waited and when he finally got to the front he said to Bobby Orr “How are your knees?”. Bobby Orr looked at this little blond cutie of a boy and just cracked up and said “they are fine thank you”. It was so adorable.
Life is like that isn’t it. We carry these little events in our mind that make us smile when we need a smile. How lucky we are. If you stop and think what is happening in order for us to just stop and think about something that happened what 24 years ago its such a miracle.
If you are feeling stuck or sad think of your own miracles and watch your energy shift.
