The Thought was There
Good Glorious Morning everyone. What’s cookin’? Pardon the pun.
So I made my Soup yesterday as I talked about and you know I don’t know why I always forget but pasta expands bigger than you can imagine. When it’s little and cute I always want to put more in the soup and when it gets in the soup and sits there it totally expands and takes over.Â
Also when we were at our friends Debbie of Spiral Turtle she put this cute little soup mix in her soup and it was so good. I guess I didn’t watch close enough because it stayed hard in the soup I made.
Now you know why I don’t even try cooking (if it doesn’t start with a T) and why my kids won’t eat anything I make (unless it starts with a T).Â
We all have our gifts I guess cooking isn’t one of mine!
Bobby is recovering slowly I’m taking him to the doctor today because he is NEVER sick. This is strange for him.
Talk soon I’m going to look up all the foods that start with a T. Somehow I don’t think it is going to be like the amazing tourtiere that Rachel showed us a picture of in her blog The Stay Lucky. I think my T foods will have to not be in French. New Rules.

My Slow Cooker is Doing its Thing!
Hi everyone. How are you this delightful day? I hope you are having tons of fun.
Don’t faint but I am making soup. Bobby has been so sick so I thought I would help him to get better (or worse, lol) by making him some soup.
I added a few things I don’t normally use like hard soup mix that doesn’t seem to want to get soft (oops) and it smells a little weird but that’s ok. Maybe his taste buds are gone and his smell, ha ha ha. Poor guy.
I had the pleasure today of visiting someone in the City for a reading. She was so lovely and she had this cool dog called a Havenese. I want one!
I’m feeling a little strange today. I think there is some kind of planetary thing going on that is having an effect on me. Very odd (‘er than normal).
Ok back to my soup. Hopefully the soup fairy will visit and fix it up! Ha Ha.

My Twelve Grapes Are Ready for Eating
Hi Everyone.
It’s 11:48 and I’m waiting for midnight! Bobby is fast asleep. I kept him up long enough to do his new years’ box I talked about in my last blog and then he was out like a light.
We went to wallmart tonight and the young cashier was so excited and couldn’t wait to party and I said well we are lucky if we can stay up to midnight and she cracked up.
I can’t believe another year is here. 2011. I’m wondering if it will go just as fast as last year. Just think 2012 is the year after. The long awaited year so soon.
I have read in a few articles that it is a tradition to eat 12 grapes at midnight in a row! It is supposed to ward off evil and bring in prosperity. One for each month. I’m sitting here waiting to do it with my grapes in hand. If you call me at midnight and you can’t understand what I’m saying its because my mouth is full of grapes!
I’m excited about 2011. A whole new year to celebrate. Yippy!

Simple Abundance
Good Morning Everyone. How are you this delcious day?
Are you getting excited about it being New Years’ Eve! It is such a fun time really isn’t it. Busy time but a fun time.
I can’t wait to do the little wish papers that I bought at The Violet Door. You burn the little things and they fly up and dissappear! If you are going to wish it might as well be fun!
I do love The Violet Door. The treasures I can find and the wonderful owners Joanne & Brian I just can’t get enough!
I had a flash the other day of this book IÂ would read called Simple Abundance – A daybook of Comfort and Joy – Sarah Ban Breathnact. My dear friend Heather swears by this book.
Of course I couldn’t find my copy and I was at The Violet Door and I thought I’ll ask if Joanne has a used copy. Bingo! How lovely and it was only $5 and it looks brand new! I’m so excited. I’m going to make a pact to myself to read it every day.
If you want one I’m sure Joanne can order you a new one just go to The Violet Door and see.
What it is is each day you get something to think about and at the end of your year hopefully be a little happier.
OO la la I like that!

Getting Ready For The New Year
Hello Everyone. Welcome to The Psychic Cottage Blog.
How wonderful you popped in.
Last night we had the best Cupcake Get together at The Violet Door. Lots of friends showed up and it was such a delight!
I was so excited that Joanne from The Violet Door came too! Thanks Joanne!
Kim joined us and talked about all the things she does on New Years’ Eve.
One of the things I wanted to share with you as not everyone was able to come is the wonderful manifesting box she makes.
Here are the instructions:
New Year’s Manifesting Box – Kim
To be kept for a year.
Use a box or other container
Write on two envelopes: Whatever is in this envelope is….
On a piece of paper write, Wouldn’t it be nice if… Then write 7 things you would like to remove from your life. Fold and seal in one of your envelopes.
On a piece of paper write, Wouldn’t it be nice if… Then write 7 things you would like to bring into your life. Fold and seal in one of your envelopes.
Place both envelopes in your box and add to the box, things that represent the changes you would like to make.
Seal your box and put away till new years the following year.
Bobby and I have been doing this for years now and when we excitingly look at what we have written things really come true!
Write if you have any questions about how to do it.
She talked about clutter and other magical things. Oh I wish you were there! Next time.
I hope you can join us for our next event where we will be talking about numerology.
You can always find out about these events on The Violet Door’s calendar.

Sunbeam Cupcake Maker
Good Morning Everyone. I’m hoping that this lovely energy that is hopping around is flowing into your life.
Mercury is going out of retrograde on Thursday so give it a few days and we should be on our way. Hopefully it will go out gently.
So check this out what I found. I’m totally excited and sad at the same time as I can’t get it here in Canada from what I can see. It’s a cupcake maker. Yes you heard me right a CUPCAKE MAKER.Â
Someone has heard the cry of Motivation, Passion & Cupcakes from beyond and sent me this wonderful thing. I do have patience I can wait for it to come here.
Now I just have to find a way to “dip” into the US and get one. I might try and order from Amazon.com and see what happens.
I’ve thought of making them myself  but as my husband has so cleverly figured out I can’t cook anything that doesn’t start with at “T” (Toast, Tuna, Tea, Taco’s) and our oven hasn’t been used in 7 years (we use a little toast convection oven). Plus I just don’t trust myself. This picture might sum it up what I’m thinking here.
With this though the world is my Oyster! I might have to rename them to be Tupcakes if I can even get ahold of one of these little contraptions from Heaven!
I know I’m a little crazy today! It happens. My giddiness of finding this has sent me over the moon.
So be on the lookout for one up here in Ontario to help me out ok! Call me right away so I can get down there and get it as I know people will be in a line to get them first. Like a cabbage patch doll.
I can see it now our cupcake events will never be the same again!

The Stay Lucky – Rachel’s Blog
Good day Everyone. I hope your Christmas was delightful!
You all know I love love love Rachel who did the illustrations on my website and blog and is the creator of my lovely Lady…well I found out when writing back and forth with her exchanging Christmas blessings that she now has a blog called The Stay Lucky.
Rachel was living in a gorgeous house down in the City. She has a very creative knack as you can well imagine. There is a picture of her City home at the beginning of the blog. Rachel and her wonderful husband Paul and two beautiful children (twins talk about lucky) moved to the Country and are renovating an old home. This blog is about the renovation and I’m gathering as it evolves will be about life in the country.
The house is delightful that they bought. It looks like tons of work but appears they are having tons of fun. I love the way she will only use tradesman from the local area.
I’m so happy for Rachel and her family and I’m so so so happy that she is much closer to me now! A hop, skip and a jump away!
Congratulations Rachel, Paul & Family on your home and your new Blog.
Thank you for being you!

Merry Christmas from The Psychic Cottage
Good Morning dear Friends. Merry Merry Merry Christmas to you all!
Have I told you lately that I love you ! I do and I want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
The Lovely Lavender Lady has written a poem to celebrate Christmas.
THEÂ CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT
Each year I open up my Christmas Box
And wish each decoration could talk.
The memories they flood through me
As I place each cherished item on the tree.
No need to dust, they are no fuss,
Just store away with your Christmas Stuff.
I feel my heart begin to swell
As each one has a story to tell.
I think of everyone I hold so dear
And feel the wetness of a tear.
But this is a time of Joy. Mirth and Love
To enjoy our heavenly gifts from above.
“God Bless Us Everyone”
Thank you Diane! Love you! Thank you for Being You!
