Million Pixel Twitter Page

June 27th, 2009 | Category: Exciting News,Musings by Sharon

Hello Everyone. How are you this day? The energy is light and playful which is a good thing.

The other day I received a message from Daily Blog Tips (see my other blog here for details about Daily Blog Tips) and he was talking about this wonderful guy David who set up this Million Pixel Twitter Page. I loved the idea right away. How cute? I wanted a square if not just to support this idea of his. I’m contemplating making my square a little larger actually. I kind of wished I picked the eye ball space too. Just for fun.

Check out the Million Pixel Twitter Page here.

I don’t quite get the whys or how it works but then I don’t really get Twitter either. I just write when I’m guided to or if it feels good to do so.

I like looking at all the different people on the Million Pixel Twitter Page every day to see if we have grown as I feel I’m now a part of it. I send blessings each day to David and his idea and all the others on “our” Million Pixel Twitter Page.

So that’s it I just wanted to tell you all about it so you can add your Twitter and help out David.

Here’s what he says about it: “It’s like two bubbles crashed into each other.” David (I’m sorry but how cute is that?)

Remembering Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett

June 26th, 2009 | Category: memories,Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Friends. Welcome to the TPC blog.

What a sad day yesterday was with the loss of two people who brought so much change into our world.

Michael Jackson was a profound musical legend. I remember when I was young at Christmas getting a little funky record player and listening over and over to the Jackson Five. If I remember right I would listen to “I want you back” over and over and dance thinking I was so cool. It must have been a 45. My family was amused the first 3 times. So funny to remember this. It’s good to know I haven’t changed much as I’m always dancing about something. I actually unknowingly skip sometimes when I’m out. People will stop me and say were you actually “skipping?”. Life is good.

I also remember Farrah Fawcett. Everyone wanted to be an Angel. She was so beautiful and she probably had one of the most memorable smiles around.

It’s a strange feeling to have these two people pass over during this time. I’m feeling old for some reason. I don’t really care about age as let’s face it when its your time its your time but with these two people gone its like part of my past is leaving me. It’s an odd feeling.

Venus who you know I love wrote this on her facebook group:

“Regarding Michael Jackson and Farrah’s deaths today…as The Beings tell me, “always have your bags packed because you never know when the train is pulling into the station.” Venus Andrecht

She is very wise and she got me thinking if I passed over today are my bags packed. I don’t think so.

There are so many people I want to say I love you to just one more time, so much clutter I need to get rid of, so many books I want to write, so much kindness I want to share, so many things left unfinished and the list goes on and on and on.

It is such a blessing to be here on Earth at this time with all the energy shifting and such. We have to make each second count.

Quote for you:

“Most people treat the present moment as if it were an obstacle that they need to overcome. Since the present moment is Life itself, it is an insane way to live.” Eckhart Tolle

Also I receive every day a quote from Joseph Murphy and today’s had a profound effect on me and I wanted to share it with you:

“You were born with only two fears, the fear of falling and the fear of noise. All your other fears were acquired. Get rid of them.” Joseph Murphy

Kind of cool advice I would say.

If you are interested in getting his daily word sign up here. It’s free.

Blessings to Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. Heaven just got more exciting with these two souls back home.  Condolences to your families and friends.

Until we meet again, Sharon.

Keyboard for Blondes

June 25th, 2009 | Category: Musings by Sharon,Ponderings

Hi Everyone.

I just found the strangest thing. I know I’m going to get trashed for even mentioning this one.

It’s a keyboard for blondes.

Here’s the Article I saw and here’s the website.

My husband said its a joke Sharon you fall for everything. It’s not though. It’s a real thing.

No I don’t think blondes are dumb nor do I think anyone is dumb for that matter. To judge anyone or anything with such a wide scope would be preposterous and arrogant. I just find this whole thing odd.

Oh no I can feel the comments now for writing this. They are pretty though without the dumb stuff.  I think I just like it because its pink.

If however there are talking keyboards wouldn’t it be cool to have one that says positive affirmations that you could program in. “You are incredible” “You are gifted.” “You are Amazing”. Hmm, maybe I’m onto something. Mine  would totally have to be pink though.

Dead Sea Scrolls

June 25th, 2009 | Category: Exciting News,Musings by Sharon

Good morning Everyone.

It’s roasting outside. Poor Toronto with the strike. It’s going to be quite smelly down there. Hopefully the strike will be over soon. I keep seeing rats when I think about it I hope that is not the case that Toronto gets infested with rats. Egads.

Exciting news though for Toronto. The Dead Sea Scrolls are at the ROM. I can’t wait to see them. Can you imagine the energy coming off them. Ahhhh. What fun. I think I’ll wait until after the strike however.

Here’s the site: Dead Sea Scrolls.

The Front Row

June 22nd, 2009 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Blog Friends. Many years ago someone forwarded to me the following and I thought I would share it with you. It is extremely valuable.

“The Front Row

Life is a Theatre….Invite Your Audience Carefully.

Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a Distance. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not going anywhere relationships or friendships.

Observe the relationships around you. Pay close attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know or appreciate you?

The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you…the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life. Remember that the people we hang with will have an impact on both our lives and our income.

And so, we must be careful to choose the people we hang out with, as well as the information which we feed our minds. We should not share our dreams with negative people, nor feed them with negative thoughts.

Who’s in your front row?”

Xpress Redi-Set-Go

June 22nd, 2009 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Friends. It’s Monday once again. My husband’s shift is all over the place so days seem to all blend together.

I’m not a big television watcher. The only show I like is Two and a Half Men for some reason. I think its hilarious.

I was flipping channels the other day though and I saw this infomercial for Meals in Minutes. They were making all this food with this little kitchen appliance called Xpress Redi-Set-Go.It was so bright and red and pretty.

I love kitchen gadgets. I could be sold on anything. I’m not saying I use them but I love them. When the lady is there doing her thing and pulling off all these meals that I could only dream about in minutes I’m hooked.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find it in Canada so we might have to order it from the US. It’s ok. I’m a little leary but it won’t be the first time.

Oh we’ve been caught before. The pasta maker was a big mistake. They talked us into three and every so often I find them and shake my head about how much they cost. Let’s face it pasta is meant to cook on the stove.

Ok back to Xpress Redi-Set-Go.

Bobby said he’s never seen me this excited about anything so let’s order it. I think he’s thinking if I can get excited about cooking anything is worth a try.

I am finding all these cool recipes for this little gadget. Mini Quiche’s in a snap and lots of other ones.

So I will keep you posted about how it all goes once I get it. You never know….

Happy Fathers Day and Welcome Summer Solstice

June 21st, 2009 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Friends.

What a wonderful day isn’t it? God is good.

I wanted to say Happy Fathers day to all the Fathers out there. What a wonderful gift to be a Father.

My own Father passed away many years ago. I miss him and dream about him often. He was a character as you can read about in my blog What would Eddie do.

The summer solstice is already among us which is somewhat scary the way time is going so quickly. It seems it was just new years eve and now it is almost the end of June.

Have a wonderful day of celebration. Blessings to all the Fathers’ out there.

Beyond a Shadow of a Doubt – Reincarnation in Action

June 20th, 2009 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Good Morning and Welcome to the TPC Blog.

Well it is a little damp and dreary out today but it is still a wonderful day and  great day to get things done inside.

I found the coolest article on line about a boy who remembers a past life of being a pilot in World War II. It proves to us without a shadow of a doubt that reincarnation exists. I never had my own doubts but many do.

I missed the program but wanted to tell you all about this article so you can listen to it. The little guy is so healing for us all. A great teacher. Apparently there is also a book about this called Soul Survivor. I looked it up at Chapters and found it for you here.

You can find the article  here.

Quotes for you today (there were just so many to pick from).

“So as through a glass and darkly, the age long strife I see, Where I fought in many guises, many names, but always me.” General George S. Patton

“I know I am deathless. No doubt I have died myself ten thousand times before. I laugh at what you call dissolution, and I know the amplitude of time.” Walt Whitman

“Genius is experience. Some seem to think that it is a gift or talent, but it is the fruit of long experience in many lives.” Henry Ford

Ageless.

June 17th, 2009 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello my dear friends. How are you this rainy evening?

I just read about a perfume called Ageless that is supposed to make you young again.

Totally awesome. Here’s the website.

The scents that they put in it sound delicious!

I so want some. I’m going to put it on my manifesting list right now.
