Check out my new Sign

March 16th, 2016 | Category: Happenings,Musings by Sharon

Good morning everyone.

I had to show you my new sign at The Psychic Cottage in Midtown Centre (since closed sorry).

Isn’t it lovely? I’m so excited about the new store and I hope you drop by. Hours vary a bit because of readings but call ahead to make sure were open.

Inspired by Brian of the Violet Door in Bowmanville who leaves our wonderful thought provoking quotes for us to read on his sign I have purchased a little cinema sign and I will add daily inspirations. This one may be hard to read but it says Manifest your Dreams. A fitting one for the store for me.

Have a wonderful day!

Sharon

(Kindly note I had to close this store due to health.)

My New Philips Multicooker

June 24th, 2015 | Category: In the Kitchen with Sharon,Musings by Sharon

Hello Everyone.

I’m Baaaack!

So get this. I saw the new Philips Multicooker on the shopping channel and like “had to have it” hello who doesn’t.

It was a pricey little gadget but we eat out a lot and it will pay for itself. Plus Bobby had over half a million Petro Canada points so we got some cards for Best Buy price matched it with shopping channel and we got it for ….wait for it….”free” because of the points! It’s all good in my world.

It’s quite a large gadget and we need to get used to how it works.

The recipes look great especially cooking the pasta without boiling. I had to laugh a bit with this as I remember us buying not one but three pasta expresses (sucker for a sales pitch) which really didn’t work at all. I think I threw them out or they went to the second hand store.

I also had a bit of an odd feeling about not cooking and throwing out the water because I thought of all the stuff that’s in the water when boiling so where is that going you know?

So back to the multicooker.

Bobby and I decided as we were excited to cook something that he would go to Bulk Barn and grab the stuff for oatmeal. This made him happy.

Personally I think oatmeal is gross on any day. The Texture and even the sound when its being eaten just kind of gags me. Eating to me is all about texture, taste and sometimes sound.

Wanting to make anything in this thing and having a willing victim to eat it made me agree.

It was kind of confusing as after we figured out how to do it there was this little button that kept going around like a little racetrack so we were like Is it working? Isn’t it? Then we started to smell the cinnamon so we were ok it’s good.

It made a LOT and Bobby had a big bowl full while I suppressed my gagging and he said it was pretty good. After he left for work I threw it in the garbage food bin. Hey he can make it anytime.

Happy New Year

January 01st, 2014 | Category: Freebie!,Musings by Sharon

Hello Everyone!

What a wonderful time of year. A new beginning. A fresh Start. A time to let go of the past and bring in the new.

The one thing that spirit has been mentioning to the people that come for a reading this year is a mantra that is “I’m always at the right place at the right time.”

Spirit encourages us gently to not borrow trouble from the past or the future.

Once we get in that place of discovering that the Universe truly is in charge we can live a life of grace and ease.

This year was a good one for me. A year of change especially in how I perceive my future. I seem to have found a place of “it’s all good”.

I learned a lot of friends and family this year. My husband Robert showed me love and how things happen but when there is love you can always find a way. My younger son Michael taught me to “Roll with It” and not get so excited all the time loving me as I am. My older boy Peter taught me about “humor” and he never ceases to make me smile and shows me a love that is very gentle and kind.  My sister Diane taught me about having a friend as a sister and being there always to show me the light. Life has taught me that I am never alone and that I have so many friends and family around me that unconditionally love me. My faith in God taught me this year that there is always a way.  Thank you all for being you. This is a wonderful place this Earth of ours.

If you haven’t had a chance to read the 2014 newsletter make sure you give it a peek!

As always please email me to get what year you are in for 2014 in numerology FREE!

WOW Has it Been that Long.

September 25th, 2013 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Everyone. I miss you all!

Yikes I do apologize for not writing in so long. It’s been one crazy summer.

Fall is such an exciting time isn’t it? Beautiful Weather Beautiful Trees Beautiful Energy.

I seem to have lost my addiction to the computer which is a strange thing really as I always had two at my hip. I’m thinking the knock on the head affected that greatly.

I’ve been concentrating on doing readings and taking care of myself.

Maybe there’s a lesson in there for all of us to remember to take care of ourselves first so that we can help others by staying healthy.

Even though I seem to have the “It’s all good and healthy” I seem to be in this hibernation mode.

It’s all good though and I’m sure just getting on here now will push me back into the computer scene.

Hello Dear Friends.

“It’s always best to start at the beginning — and all you do is follow the Yellow Brick Road” Glinda Good Witch

Long time no write. I do apologize.

Just to keep you updated. I moved out of the Violet Door on May 31st due to some health issues. It was sad to leave my dear friends Joanne and Brian.

I will continue out of the l’il Psychic Cottage until the end of June and then I will be working out of another location which I will save for a later date to tell you about. It is in Oshawa.

I know its hard to keep track and I’m sure the saga is getting boring.

I am also heading out to Newfoundland on the 19th for a work vacation where I will be doing a retreat with a dear Friend and readings. The lovely Lavender Lady will be joining me. Yippy!

Just when I think life has settled down something crazy happens. I’m just following the yellow brick road.

Also, if you ordered a reading I’m having some trouble with my computer as I believe it was hacked. Working on this and I’ll have something to you by tomorrow for sure! Yikes. Also, if you get a weird email from me please know that it is from a hacker not me. Geez Louise when it rains it pours.

OK talk soon!

Freedom 55

May 20th, 2013 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Friends.

Well today I turn 55! It’s a funny reflective age really. A fun number of new beginnings.

There is going to be lots of changes coming for the Psychic Cottage so I will keep you posted. I will continue of course to do readings while I reflect along the way.

Thank you all for being there in my 54th year and I look forward to seeing all your smiling faces in my 55th.
