Unicornville
Good afternoon dear Friends. Is this day not the most beautiful yet?
For me today is wonderful. I’m not sure what can top it off. I spent the day with my cool kids and I received my birthday present that my husband bought me.
He bought me one of Venus’ paintings that she put her Mojo’s in. See my blog here. Oo la la its so pretty. The energy is just a hoppin’ on it.
I was driving with my son in Mississauga today and I came up to the street Confederation. I said to him do I turn right on Consideration? He says “Mom I’m so glad it isn’t your job to name the streets and towns.” He said it would be like I will meet you in Unicornville at the corner of Blessings Street and Miracle Avenue.”
He rolled his eyes when I looked at him like that was the best idea ever imaginable. When I’m rich I’m going to make a town and it will be all about positive energy. What do you think?
I hope you are having as cool a day as I am.

May the 4th Be With you.
Good Morning Everyone.
How are you this wonderful day. Happy Star Wars Day.
I was talking to my Brother yesterday and I don’t know how today came up but he said “May the 4th be With you”.
I wasn’t quite sure what he was talking about and he had to explain it a bit into my hard Taurus head but then I was laughing big time.
Isn’t that adorable.
Enjoy the day my Friends and May the 4th be with you today.

Caught in the Act
Hello Dear Blog Friends. How are you tonight? It’s a wonderful night.
Today was a delightful day. My husband took my Mother-in-Law and I out for a dinner and show for my Mother-in-law’s 65th birthday.
It was such fun. Thanks Bobby!
I also got caught with my hands in the cookie jar.
We go into Lone Star and there is a bowl of mints. I always grab a bunch for Bobby as he loves mints. Personally I don’t like mints (except for Bob’s Mints, pardon the pun) but for him I grab them. So don’t I have my hand full of them being very discrete and we are almost at our table and being in an open space, wood floor, with tables all around I go to put them in the pocket of my new coat. Now this coat does have pockets but instead of the pocket I put them under the belt and basically into thin air and the candies went flying everywhere.
So I immediately crack up laughing in this loud cackle which makes everyone look and Bobby and my Mother-in-Law and the waiter as well as the Waitress that was being trained all burst out laughing. My face was so red while I was picking them all up off the floor and shoved them in my pocket. Good thing I only grabbed 5 and not 45.
That could only have happened to me.
I immediately looked around and said OK no one got that on a phone camera right I don’t want to be on youtube with this one.
I slide over to the wall seat and layed low throughout dinner. The waitress said I could have a handful of mints when I leave and not to worry about it.
Isn’t that hilarious.
After we went to see Oceans. It was so good. Amazing really. I loved the words at the end. Bobby was so tired he snored through the whole thing. I really enjoyed it as did Joan.
Happy Birthday Joan. Thanks for being you.

Lucky Loonie
Hello Everyone.
I have to tell you about something very cool I found out today.
I received payment for a reading and there was an extra loonie in it. When I asked my delightful friend what this was all about she indicated that this is something that her culture does. Adds an extra dollar to every payment they make to keep the abundance flowing.
Isn’t that cool. I love that idea.
It reminded me of a Dollar a Day.
I received $20 the other day and it had written on it “I love you. You love me. Come back to me soon.” All these wonderful things seem to be showing up lately in my life about abundance. Hopefully its a sign of wonderful things to come.

Just When You Thought it Couldn’t Get Any Better.
Good Morning Everyone. Happy Saturday. I can’t believe its almost the end of April. Like where is the time going and where is my April to do list?
(Once again you might need a map on this one. I’m all over the place.)
I’m such a nut sometimes (I wrote wanker and then looked up the meaning and even though it said jerk it also said something about enjoying oneself alone if you get my drift so I left it out). I seemed to be in this state of confusion and I’m causing all sorts of havoc. Double bookings and such. My clients are going to think I’m crazy.
I’m probably living too much in the spirit world to get grounded on our sweet earth or it is the ole’ story of Mercury in Retrograde.
See there I go again getting sidetracked I’m trying to tell you a story of this wonderful little product that has come into my life.
When I went to the dentist they suggested that I buy one of their toothbrushes. Not having a spare $100 I of course said no but when my wonderful husband went to the dentist the other day he got me one.
Now I have one of those little cheapy crest ones but this one is like the Cadillac of all toothbrushes.
It plugs in to recharge and has a little case it sits in and the brushes are kept inside this little cool capsule so that it keeps clean. (Ever since reading about floating fecal matter on a toothbrush I kind of cringe when using one.)
That’s not all it is so cool to use. It feels like when the dentist does that end cleaning where they polish your teeth. Plus it vibrates and gives your tongue a little bit of fun. It feels so fresh and clean and I’m so happy. Afterwards my mouth feels so good.
So there you have it. When your dentists says to get one of their toothbrushes (which they say they make nothing on (who am I to judge) ) then it is worth it to get one or give google eyes to your significant other and let him or her pick you one up.
Now I’m hoping this blog didn’t have too much shock value talking about several taboo subjects all at once. Well I’m about to do it again see my quote.

Small Medium at Large
Good Evening Dear Friends. Is this not the weirdest Mercury In Retrograde that you have ever felt? I’m feeling almost like I’m suspended in some odd place in time going no where.
I was being reflective today and I was remembering when I was younger that I thought when I retired I was going to get one of those little trailers like this:
and a funky little car like a pink beetle and have them both painted into some sort of funky psychic travelling machines and do readings across Canada. You know stopping along the way and doing readings at craft shows and festivals and such.
Well that was until I met my husband who I don’t think would be onside to this adventure.
There is one of these little trailors on kijiji for sale and it brought up memories of my dream to do that.
A small funny dream but a fun one just the same.
I really don’t think I’m that brave a soul anyway. I like things grounded and knowing where I’m at. Maybe next life I’ll be a Sagittarius and this adventure would be an easy one.

Remember When?
Hello Dear Friends. Welcome to The Psychic Cottage Blog. I hope your day is a blessed one.
I actually wrote this yesterday but hello three blogs in one day not counting the ones I do for another blog was a little much. Time brings out the writer in me.
When Bobby and I were out and I was getting his happy face cake for his birthday I remembered about the most amazing birthday cake in the world from my past. Many moons ago Eaton’s and Simpsons were connected by a tunnel and you could go underneath the street. My Mom and I would go downtown and we would walk through. There would be these little carts zooming by on their way somewhere. I never quite figured the whole thing out but I remember it was such a special time. I’m hoping my memory is serving me right and this is correct.
Where I’m going with this is that Eaton’s had a bakery and they had the most amazing birthday cake. They even had little ones you could get which I have to tell you I have bought even when there wasn’t a birthday in sight. The icing tasted so delicious and hardened a bit when it was there for a day after. I have tasted nothing like these cakes ever again. If someone could duplicate this cake or if anyone knows of anywhere that makes cakes like this please let me know.
I remember too the Christmas Windows in Eaton’s and Simpsons. We would go downtown for the Christmas Parade and look at the windows. What fun.
Simple times really. It must be hard for children now as their lives are so fast. Esther Hicks talks of children coming down computer ready as they are conceived in the time of the current energy so I’m sure a simpler time would make them a little nuts.
What fun to remember these things.

Walking after Midnight
Look at me! Two blogs in one day. I really should do something productive instead of searching the internet for interesting things.
Nonetheless I found the coolest thing on my travels. There is a young girl Hailey who has started a company called Damn Heels and she has the coolest website. You know how I love my branding.
These little ballet shoes are for when your feet have had enough of the high heels and they are ready for some comfort. I was thinking about Hailey and the Patsy Cline song came ringing in my head “I was walking after midnight” hence the title of this blog.
Not only are these little adorable flats practical but so very convenient as they fit in your purse and then they turn into a little bag to carry your heels in. Like how cool is that? (I have to tell you though mine will probably get more use as travelling slippers as my days of midnight walks in high heels are few and far between.)
Someone is getting it right. Do they come in pink yet?
Congratulations Hailey! Success looks good on you.

Just Do It
Happy Sunday to my Dear Friends out there in Blogland. I hope this wonderful day is treating you kindly.
I was listening to Venus (who you know I adore) on the Mojo Television Show she has with her daughter Summer (FlowDreaming) and she said something that totally inspired me. She was talking about how we all have these great ideas but we don’t do anything about them. Sure we talk about it to whoever will listen (sometimes of why we can’t do it) and we imagine it in our heads and minds and dreams but for some reason something always stops us.
The excuses are big and real really but they have to go if we want to get to where we want to get to.
We are far from alone in this one. I’m sure there are tons of people, including me, that if they acted on one small thing or even got someone to help them that things would just happen. Now I’m not talking here about when something isn’t ripe yet. This is a whole other matter. If something isn’t ripe no one can make it happen.
On Venus and Summer’s show (link here) Summer said that if you aren’t there yet just pretend that you are practicing. She said that Venus taught her that when she was young. Talk about taking the pressure off something. What an amazing idea. We spend enough time practicing what we don’t want to happen why not practice what we do want to happen.
So that’s it I’m getting off my butt and taking on a project. How about you? Are you in? I’m thinking the mojo and flowdream on their show really worked as I am feeling really inspired!

Happy Birthday Bobby
Good Morning Dear Friends. How is your world? I pray your dreams are coming true.
It’s my husband’s birthday today. I wanted to take a moment to say Happy Birthday Bobby!
Bobby as I call him even though he answers to many names is a totally cool guy. I think what I love about him the most is his conviction for making life happen.
Last year was a big one for him. He decided that he wanted to start running. You will remember my blog about it from May of last year.
Now he is wanting to run a Marathon and has completed the 30 K around the Bay. Not bad considering his age. I’m so very proud of him.
He sets his goals high and always does everything to make them happen.
We have a really great life together and the best part about Bobby is that he makes me laugh constantly. Life is good.
Bobby, Happy Birthday to you and thank you for being you. Love you!
