Know Your Audience.

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello everyone. Welcome to the TPC Blog.

This is my brothers’ saying. He said you can talk about anything you want to people just know your audience.

I’m thinking this applied to me in the last day or so.

Did you ever trust someone and then they turn out to be someone that you don’t even want to be associated with or wouldn’t give the time of day if you knew the real them? That happened to me. I think what irks me more is that this person did it the whole time with a smile on their face? Probably what irks me the most if I really thought about it is that I didn’t see it and walked right into it.

What makes people do this? I’m thinking in this instance that spirit wouldn’t let me see the real person otherwise I would throw a fit and come out swinging.

I kind of feel stupid though that I even thought this person was my friend and the first chance they got they shoved the knife in.

The peculiar part is that I think others are now standing in line with this person without thinking that they might be next. A leopard doesn’t change his spots.

Onward and upward though as I always say. I will be careful though in the future who I trust. I have never been like that really. I just go along my way thinking everyone is my Pal and they are brought onto my path for a reason. I guess the lesson here is to always keep your boundaries protected.

I’m not one to hold onto things so this is a good exercise to get it out in a blog and let go. I’m sure the universe has a plan for me (and them) and I’m sure it included the last few days. There’s a lesson there somewhere. Hopefully a few good healings and the knife will be nudged out of my back and healed all up and tougher so that it can’t happen again.

A quote to share:

“Though those that are betrayed Do feel the treason sharply, yet the traitor Stands in worse case of woe.”
– William Shakespeare

Sometimes there’s nothing like a blog to get something off your chest.

Until we meet again, Sharon
