Slacker and Screamworks

Hello Dear Friends.

How are you this strange evening. The energy seems to be building towards something and I’m not sure what’s going on. If I had an oasis to run away to I think I’d go until it’s over and the energy settles down a little.

I remembered something funny today that happened long time ago and Bobby reminded me about it.

Many years ago I worked at a job and I’m never one to be like others and I’m very much a rebel. Push me and I push back. I will never change.

There was a big meeting and executives came from other places and it was a large boardroom that everyone went into. A lot of people I didn’t know and lots I did. There was this one guy there that I worked with. His name was Neil. We would have fun together saying things back and forth. He was at one end of the table and I was at the other. There were I think about 30 people there. We all had pads in front of us for the meeting. So I hear Neil say ok can I have everyone’s attention if we just all sign this we can get this over with and go home. He holds up a sign that says “Sharon is a Slacker”. Everyone cracked up. I did too but the first words out of my mouth weren’t the most lady like and everyone forgot about him and looked directly at me. I think I went 10 shades of red at that point. Is life ever dull for me? I just had to share with you.

The other thing I wanted to tell you about is Screamworks. A kind lady at the Psychic Tea I mentioned in my last blog told me about it. Well she did say Spookfest but either works. It’s in Peterborough. I’m thinking of going. It sounds like a blast. I totally love Halloween. Its got to be the best holiday. I told you before I love anything witchy. I think I’m going to dress up like a witch! I have to ask if we are allowed to. What fun. I’ll keep you posted and make sure if you are in the area to come and say hi to me.

Until we meet again, Sharon

I think lunch or dinner with a certain niece is in order if you are planning a trip to Peterborough šŸ™‚

Oh Becki that would be wonderful. If you cook like me we’ll go out for lunch. Sharon
