I heard today that the last penny was made in Canada today! What’s up with that?

What happens to these sayings:.

“Penny for Your Thoughts”

“Cost a Pretty Penny”

“Penny Saved is a Penny Earned”

“Penny-Wise Pound Foolish”

“Doesn’t have two pennies to rub together”

I guess “Nickle” will be our new “Penny.

Now we will have to wait for spirit to send them down to us or maybe they have none either and will start sending nickles (or loonies, ouch).
