Afternoon Friends!

I didn’t really want to copy the format from this blog into my other blog on the Sugarmoon site so I have come up with a new ending instead of a quote called “What I Learned Today” so I thought I’d give you a sample.

What I learned today:

“I learned never to give up on something that you can do it. I kind of learned this yesterday but hey today tomorrow what’s the difference. I took a course in February on how to do websites. I was so flustered and really couldn’t figure it out. I so wanted to be able to understand but kind of surrendered to the place that its not for me and after whining from February to April hired someone to help me. After hiring someone to help me the place where I took the course phoned and asked me how I was doing and I said listen its not for me. They agreed kindly to spend another hour with me to help me figure out what it was that was making me so crazy. She said Sharon you are so close! I instantly thought of Florence Scovel Shinn how she talks about this when you give up it is usually just around the next corner that your success is there. I’m sure she said it much more eloquently. After the hour training and her explaining everything to me something clicked and I couldn’t stop working on the site having a delightful time. OK I still had to have certain things that were way beyond me done by the site provider but all in all I think I did pretty well.

So lesson learned was “never give up”.
