Hummingbird Rescue – So Very Cool this One
Good Morning Everyone. How are you this wonderful day?
I just received in my email the cutest video about a young man who rescues a baby hummingbird after it was attacked. I loved it. The music just made it. How so very sweet he is to do this. I bet he was different after the adventure.
Here’s the video. Hummingbird Rescue
Quote for you:
“From scarlet to powdered gold,
to blazing yellow,
to the rare
ashen emerald,
to the orange and black velvet
of your shimmering corselet,
out to the tip
that like
an amber thorn
begins you,
small, superlative being,
you are a miracle,
and you blaze.”
From “Ode to the Hummingbird” Pablo Neruda (1904 – 1973)

This is a wonderful poem.It really captures the beauty and firey spirit of the wonderful hummingbird. I think that his short sentences capture the tiny size of the hummingbird. I enjoyed the video that video also.
Thanks for Writing Ruth. I’m glad you liked it.
