Life is Good

Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Blog Friends. How are you this wonderful 24 hours that the Universe provided for us to do with what we want.

So last weekend was the new opening of the relocated Psychic Cottage.

There are so many people that helped me. Everyone was incredible.

Of course my wonderful husband for painting the door yellow.

Pulling together something like that isn’t my specialty. I get stuck up with well that picture would look lovely there, no there, no there, no there. Fifteen hours later and then I realize that I’m a minute before opening.

My sister and brother came up to help. My brother was a Godsend because I was trying to put together this little fireplace thing I bought and I kept putting in the screws wrong. I didn’t want to break it because sometimes I do that I get flustered and force something and then its useless.

So my brother put it together and it looks so cute and warmed us up when we needed it. Plus it looked adorable. Added the ambiance that I was looking for. One older man said “It’s cozy in here”. That’s what I was going for.

My sister walked in a l/2 hour before I was to open and went “OMG Sharon” we are never going to get this ready. She is used to me. There have been many times when she has come over to help me move the day of the move and I’m like sure I’m ready. When she gets there I realize that I haven’t packed a thing. We all have our gifts organizing isn’t one of mine.

After she walked in our house and said “Sharon I think you belong on one of those shows.” She is adorable my sister. You have too much stuff!

So anyway. I’m doing my thing with the readings and in walks a wonderful new friend of mine with this beautiful vase filled to the brim with flowers and a card to celebrate the opening of the new Psychic Cottage. What a beautiful friend. it almost took up the whole room it was so big. I felt so blessed at that moment. I am so grateful to do the job I do because I get to meet so many inspiring people. Thank you so much Paulina. I will remember that moment forever.

Jenny and Marla from City Cottage were so great. I think she has to get busy making more furniture because by the end of Applefest her place was empty! I can see why though as her furniture is so beautiful. She also made this yummy cider which kept us and customers warm throughout the day. Thank you!

Marie was there from Under the Toadstool. She has all these treasures in her little store. It’s fun to see them because they are all so familiar from long time ago. I could hear people going through her store so excited at finding something from their past. Marie and a friend brought in these wonderful treats. It was so tempting to eat but thank goodness I’ve gone for my Hypnotherapy from Dr. Angelface (his name is changed to protect the waiting list) otherwise I would have wolfed down a bunch of them.

So that’s it. The next one on December 4th will be much more organized. I promise.

Blessings to my family, friends, clients and everyone on my path. May love follow you everywhere.

Congratulations on the new place, Sharon! Hopefully I’ll get out to Bowmanville to visit you one of these days (because the place next door sounds like a place I need to see too!) I wish you nothing but happiness in your new location.
