Welcome to The Psychic Cottage Blog!
Dear Friends:
My name is Sharon and I’m the owner of  The Psychic Cottage and I welcome you to my blog.
I am totally excited and grateful to be able to have the opportunity to talk to my clients and friends using this medium (no pun intended). I love blogs even the name makes me smile.
I promise you all here and now that I will do whatever it takes to keep up my blog regularly so you won’t be disappointed. It’s a terrible feeling when you go onto your favourite blog and there is no new material. So through rain sleet, snow and hail I will deliver to you The Psychic Cottage blog (affectionately known as “TPC Blog”).
I have lots of exciting ideas, including freebies, contests and I’m hoping you will give me a little bit of patience while it all evolves.
One of the things I want to do is called “Along the Way”. I want people I have met along my path to be a guest blogger (“bloggee”) and they will share with you a Gem of their own Personal Wisdom.
I will leave you with one of my favourite quotes:
“When looking for the stars she forgot the flowers at her feet” Author Unknown
Until we meet again, Sharon, The Psychic Cottage

Hi Sharon,
Wow. Synchronicity, serendipity, chance. I happened upon the store ‘Country Cottage’ today in Bowmanville after dropping by the local DMV to renew my drivers license as today I turn 50! I picked up a little card at this shop directing me to visit your blog and website. I read in one blog that you visited Las Vegas for your 50th. I am doing that with my hubby and friends next year to celebrate our 50th’s. You mentioned Florence Scovill Shinn and her book ‘The Game of Life & How to Play It’. This book is by my bedside (library copy) and until recently my quote on Facebook was one of hers. I’ve just recently changed it to one of the Universal Laws ‘Energy goes where attention flows’. Had I found out about you and this website earlier I would’ve definately booked a reading for my 50th birthday today. I of course would’ve had to cram in it around the DMV and my 90 minutes at the massage parlor and dinner out with my family, but would have done so gladly! LOL. I loved turning 40, 45 and now 50 takes the cake. I am learning and growing with each passing year and loving the wisdom & deep spirituality that comes with each passing year. I would love to have a reading done, perhaps in the near future. I’m glad I happened apon this little store, and this little blue card now in my possession. I love how you sign off on your blogs … “until we meet again”. I’ll sign off … “Until we meet”. And a quote “There is no greatness where there is not simplicity, goodness and truth”. Leo Tolstoy
Dearest Jennie. I’m so honoured to be allowed to do readings and meet so many friends along the way. We are so very similar aren’t we? Funny how life is isn’t it. Well Happy Birthday to you! That’s so wonderful. 50 was a delight and 51 is even better! Florence Scovel Shinn is my favourite. Catharine Ponder is becoming another one of my favourites too! I get her books at The Violet Door in Bowmanville. They are hard to find. I’m so glad you wrote and I’m looking forward to meeting you in the near future. I’m only there by appointment but phone any time. Be Well. Sharon
