Happy 30th Birthday Peter

October 12th, 2011 | Category: Gems Along the Way,Musings by Sharon

It’s my Son’s 30th birthday today and I wanted to dedicate this blog to him.

My Dearest Son. Happy Birthday to you. Today you turn 30.

Where did the time go it seems like yesterday I was holding you in my arms in the hospital. Born on Thanksgiving Day and it was a day I truly gave thanks for you in my life.

It is very exciting as a parent to watch your children grow into adults and watch their gifts come out throughout the years.

I’m so lucky and proud that you chose me to be your Mom and to realize the wonderful gifts that you share with our world and the amazing person you are.

Here’s what I see when I look at you Peter.

Courage

Your life hasn’t been an easy one this I know. It was taken off course with your accident where we almost lost you. You struggled to find your way back on course with a strength that only someone with your gifts could get out of still smiling and not bitter.

Sense of Family

When I was double blessed and your brother came along it was great to see you two develop into a tight family together. I could never have asked for a better Son to protect your brother and to always be in his life. You both make a team that is unstoppable.

Spiritual

You got the Reesor genes when it comes to your light heartedness. Your smile and your continuous lightness that you share with others and your quick wit. When I think of you I always think of my Mother, your Grandma, in spirit as there is a softness in both of you that seems to be the same.

Handsome and Humble

You have always been a handsome guy and the older you get the more handsome you get. It’s one thing to be handsome but it’s another to glow when you smile.

Non Judgemental

I know it’s not easy to have a Mom that is different but I’ve heard that the first things out of your mouth when talking about me is “My Mom’s a Psychic”! How wonderful that you accept me the way I am. Another gift you have of non-judgement.

Creative

Not too many people know this about you but you are extremely creative. When left with a notebook and a pencil eventually you will have a wonderful book filled with beautiful pictures. Incredible!

Brilliant

From a young age you were gifted with numbers. You add them in your head faster then someone could even say them. You didn’t need calculators or computers the numbers danced in your head. By the time I would have put something in a calculator you already had the answer. This is something that was innate inside of you. Such a gift.

Friend

You have had your friends since the beginning of your life and continue to make new ones. It amazes me really that the whole group continue until this day. I do know it takes a good friend to have friends so I know you are a good friend to many including me.

Sensitive

It takes a certain confident man to be sensitive and this is a gift I have seen in you many times. Thoughtful to others and sensitive to other people.

Charming

No one can say this is not true. You can walk into a room and light it up with your charm.

Generous

When Peter was little we would go downtown and it was always a good idea to bring lots of change because he spent the whole time asking for change to give to everyone on the street. It was so cute. I remember as he started to get a little older (8 maybe) he would always ask for instead of a present for a donation to be made. No one ever did and then once my sister did it for him and he said it was the best present he ever got. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday he said a Sick Kid’s lottery ticket. Such a sweetie.

Grace

I guess I could go on forever about the gifts you share with the world but I guess what I wanted to say more than anything is I love you with all my Heart and I’m so proud you are my Son!

Happy 30th Birthday Peter.

Love MOM

Does it get any worse?

October 11th, 2011 | Category: Musings by Sharon

>Hi everyone!!!

Oh my goodness I’ve had the worse few days which is so not like me!

Yesterday I thought it was so wise to get out the exercise machine that my friend has and I lifted it up and I didn’t realize it had wheels and wham it slid against my toe and pulled off my nail! OUCH OUCH OUCH!! it lifted it right up and split the nail in half and lifted it up. Pain like crazy.

Then this morning I’m getting ready to go to Jesters Court as I’m doing readings there every Tuesday in October and the last October and don’t I lock the car keys in the car. Thank God for small mercies I had the keys for the house in my hand.

Can you believe it?

Now let me tell you my life does not do this spirit is always there for me and life flows this is crazy?

Plus as I felt a headache coming on I go to the drugstore doesn’t the lady say to me do you qualify for the seniors discount?

Universe you’re kidding right?

Then I thought you know what let’s add up my house I’m housesitting at and it adds up to a 7? So I put a 4 on the back of the door and I’m hoping for better things to happen.

I don’t like this at all!

House Sitting Adventure

October 08th, 2011 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hi Everyone. How are you today? Looks like its going to be an amazing day!

My Friend is away in England for her 50th (HAPPY BIRTHDAY) and I have agreed to house sit.

I thought seeing that I have loads of time to think I will do a blog each day for you to share in this fun.

(I arrived late.)

OBSERVATIONS – First Night – Friday October 7th, 2011.

It’s only 45 minutes from home! Why don’t we get together
more?

My friend has a lovely neighbour. Little girls say whatever they think eh?

Doesn’t everyone have wifi?

Where is that modem?

Readings are behind.

Telephone cords hide behind large book cases.

I miss my Mom.

Being tied to a modem isn’t as fun as wifi?

Where is her cat? Note to check litter box to make sure I didn’t let out.

Lonely I think my son is sick of my texting him. Imagine that?

Shadow (my Friend’s Dog) is waiting at the door for my Friend and won’t leave. I think there are tears in his eyes.

Where is cat? Yikes

Thinking about graveyard in backyard and wondering if I’m going to be woke up at night. (Son saying have ghosts shown up yet not helping.)

Falling asleep somewhere strange is kind of easy. Nice bed! I need a new bed.

Dog barks for nothing? Creepy.

Miss my Husband.

Lord Love a Duck

October 04th, 2011 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Good Morning Everyone.

Such an amazing morning. How is everyone out there in Blogland.

I forgot to tell you all about something strange that happened to me since my blog was down.

I became a vegetarian!

Now it wasn’t by choice it was more forced on me. This is how it went.

I love my swiss chalet and not only that it was the rib special. Bobby and I have our little swiss chalet ritual, we get it to go set up the tv trays put on our favorite show and chow down.

So I set my tray up with my ribs and chicken put my sauces on the side get my bun ready and go to cut into my ribs and I have this feeling come over me from spirit like I’m cutting into a human or something. I try again and the same gagging reflexes once again. I’m like ok (trying to save my amazing food) its just the ribs so I gave them to Bobby and I go to cut into the chicken….same thing!

It was the most oddest thing and something I really have no control over. I’m not sure where its coming from but since that happened I have not eaten any meat.

I can get down eggs (which is interesting as I found them a little disgusting before this) but that’s it. No fish either.

I shake my head on this one really. Has this

Has this ever happened to any of you?

The strangest part is that I love the smell and I want to eat it but something won’t let me.

Oh does the fun ever stop in my world.

I met a man who was not there.
He was not there again today,
Oh, how I wish he’d go away.”

Until we meet again, Sharon

(PS When I got sick in 2016/2017 spirit made it very clear to start eating meat again. I think I was a very bad vegetarian as I didn’t eat properly. Not blaming being a vegetarian on being sick, just telling you what spirit conveyed to me. I do feel better eating meat now.)

Diamonds Are Forever

October 01st, 2011 | Category: Musings by Sharon,Now that's Peculiar.

Good morning everyone.

Weird weather it’s like a cold wind has taken over or something.

I was flipping around on the Internet today for a brief second and something jumped out at me which is the oddest yet intriguing thing I have seen in a long time.

It’s about turning your loved ones into a diamond which you wear as jewellery. Bizarre eh?

Here’s the link I read here Diamonds.

Here’s another link Diamonds Too.

So apparently you get some ashes of your deceased loved ones (wonder what part from the ashes you are carrying around? Makes you wonder.)  (or you can do it when you are alive through hair samples) and they take it, heat it up and make a diamond. Is this legal in Canada? You wonder?

There is an Icky element to this as well as a comfort element also. Probably the euew part is taking the parts from  the body and sending it on. Once again is this legal?

The cost it says ranges from $3,000 to $25,000 and you can prearrange. I want to ask a feng shui expert what they think of this?

I have to wonder if future generations are going to just hand down the diamonds or tell the whole story here! Dear relatives you are gathered here to discuss your inheritance……in the will you get Grandma diamond and you get the pet dog, wear well dear relatives???

Also, I have to ask do these diamonds have any value except for the family? Can you sell Grandma?

Interestingly it says you can also have a pet made into a diamond on its passing too.

Something to surely think about.

Kind of gives new meaning to the phrase “Diamonds are Forever”.

(In this instance I’m with you Emma.)

Until we meet again, Sharon

P.S. Hmmmmmm how do you really know that its Grandma’s ashes and not just some diamond they have in a drawer?
