In the Kitchen with Sharon
Hello Everyone. How are you this glorious day.
So I thought I was doing really well with my Xpress Redi Set Go (“XRSG”) and I had a strange day with it.
I made a pizza early afternoon for Bobby and it went well. Considering that I didn’t really have pizza supplies and compromised a bit and considering that I thought Bobby would just feed it to our dogs I didn’t put my heart into it.
Actually it turned out pretty good. They are mighty small and Bobby asked for another. I thought that was a good sign. I was a bit confused because it wouldn’t work at first and then I realized I didn’t have it turned on. Yes I told you before cooking isn’t my thing.
Then when I got home later in the evening he asked for another. I brought home all the right fixings for the pizza like real sauce etc and it turned out pretty good. You can’t go crazy on the cheese though.
The dough was nice and light that I made.
Then the trouble began. I thought what about a few potatoes from a can. I’m not sure if it overheated from making a pizza and going right into potatoes but there was this smell of paint burning and then I looked on top and the paint was pealing off the top? I’m not sure how it got so hot?
Bobby at this point was that’s it I’m not eating out of it ever again. My heart was broken.
What happened? All my dreams crushed in an instant?
I’ll see what happens tomorrow when I make an egg. I put a complaint into the complaint department to see if mine is defective.
My heart is broken. I thought this was my entrance way into cooking.

1 commentI got my Xpress Redi Set Go today!
Hello Everyone. How are you doing?
Well I guess you know from the title I finally got my Xpress Redi Set Go grill. I’m totally pumped. When I was opening the box and told my son I ordered something he said “They got you eh?”. Too funny.
He is right though. I was looking through my little book which lists my requested manifestations and I noticed one day where there are all these odd things on the list. I must have been watching TV for some reason because there were three infomercial things on the list. I guess sometimes you shouldn’t have your manifestation list too close to you. Good thing I didn’t have a credit card handy.
I’m a bit weirded out about where to start and I was a little surprised about how small it is. It looks like it belongs in a toy kitchen beside an Easy Bake Oven. Also, there are these little metal things on the pans and they say “Caution Hot”. Would it have hurt to add a little plastic thing to hold onto so I don’t lose some fingerprints which is totally going to happen.
Nonetheless I’m am thoroughly excited to start. There is a recipe for dough for the pizza and you make up enough for 12 pizza’s and put it in the fridge for two weeks. That’s kind of cool. It might be a little stretch to accomplish this dough for me but I’ll try. What’s the worse that could happen right?
My husband was a little surprised I didn’t jump in and do something right away. He had a bit of an expression that looked like he was experiencing a deja vu from our pasta express.
So that’s it. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.

No commentsHappy Canada Day Eh!
Good Morning Everyone. How are you this wonderful Canada Day. I can’t believe the sun is out. How cool is that? I had all these plans and cancelled them because it was supposed to rain. I should have trusted my gut instead of the weather channel.
I just wanted to take a moment to say how lucky I feel to live in such a beautiful Country as Canada. What’s not to love about it.
Also, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all our men and women over in Kandahar.
Blessings to you all and a special blessing to our dear friend Joe.
May God be with you all
So have a wonderful Canada Day one and all.

3 commentsI’m getting a Favicon
Good early evening everyone. Oh my my writing fingers aren’t stopping today are they.
I had to tell you the good news I’m getting a Favicon next week.
What’s a Favicon you say? It’s the little icon that goes beside your URL. I’m so excited.
I contacted my website designer extraordinaire, Mouth Media, and they are going to do it next week. I was so saddened that others had them and I didn’t. Now I too will have a Favicon. It sounds so science fiction doesn’t it.
I promise to write no more until tomorrow.

2 commentsHP Vivienne Tam Notebook – Part Two
Hello Everyone. I had to add a part two as the manifesting adventure continues. See Part One if you haven’t already otherwise you might need a map for this one.
So I went to have lunch with my Honey for fun. When I was on my way home I noticed there was a Best Buy.
Best Buy is one of the places that sells my new Vivienne Tam Notebook so I thought once again how so very serendipitous.
Just as an aside (sorry) I’m reading this great book called Living a Charmed Life by Victoria Moran. It is such a wonderful book. I’m only through about half of it and there are so many little tips which make your life exciting. One of the things she says to do is to keep a serendipity log. What fun is that. After reading that and then I saw Best Buy where I didn’t expect to see it I thought I would go in and have something to add to my serendipity list for today.
So I went in and saw it. I have to tell you I was at first somewhat dissappointed in it. I’m not sure if it’s because I had it all glowy in my visualization or what? I kind of thought for $649 (check out the number) that it would be a little more pizazzy (not sure if this is a word but I felt like writing it). I was checking it out and thinking to myself that I could probably get a pretty good laptop for the same price with lots and lots of extra features and slap a flower on the front and Bob’s your uncle. Sure it might not have a Double Happiness symbol on the enter key but I could paint one on. Then it started to grow on me once again and I decided that yes I want this one why do I always compromise when it comes to me.
So I’m oooing and awwing at it visualizing myself purchasing it and walking out the door after purchasing it when the salesman walks over. He’s like can I help you? I said no I’m just visualizing purchasing this. He gave me a look I see so often that says “my aren’t we peculiar”. He said well I can help you “buy it”. I said no not today soon though.
So that’s part two to my manifesting adventure. Stay tuned for Part Three.

3 commentsHP Vivienne Tam Notebook – Part One
Good Morning Everyone. The sun is coming out and looking mighty good to me.
I’m going to manifest something right before your very eyes.
I now manifest a Vivienne Tam Notebook. Ta Da!
Have you seen them? They are so gorgeous. Every woman should be given one just because they scream coolness.
Here’s the website.
The actual Enter key is a Chinese symbol for Double Happiness. It’s like a Feng Shui abundance making machine. It even has a matching Mouse! Pinch me Now!
Just a second here I need to do something “I now have a Vivienne Tam Notebook, I now have a Vivienne Tam Notebook, I now have a Vivienne Tam notebook……” ok its not here yet but I know it’s on its way. I’m releasing my request to the Universe now. I’ll keep you posted.
Abraham will help me with this quote:
“It’s not your work to make anything happen. It’s your work to dream it and let it happen. Law of Attraction will make it happen. In your joy, you create something, and then you maintain your vibrational harmony with it, and the Universe must find a way to bring it about. That’s the promise of Law of Attraction.” Abraham (Esther Hicks)
Ok I’m off to do the Blue Room Meditation as I’m taking this request very seriously to prove to you that manifesting is easy when you put your mind to it!
Until we meet again, Sharon
P.S. Life is hilarious sometimes isn’t it? Just as I finished this Blog I went onto my email and there was a newsletter from Carol Look. Carol Look does EFT and specializes in different things like abundance, clutter, public speaking, etc. She’s amazing. Her latest newsletter had an EFT exercise for patiently waiting for your manifestations. How so very serendipitous. Here is her website where you can sign up for the newsletter. Yes I did the exercise. I will now let the Universe bring me my Vivienne Tam notebook in its own Divine Time.

Hello Everyone. How are you this stormy afternoon? Gotta love the thunder sometimes.
I was in Bowmanville today and there is a new store I went in called City Cottage. It’s actually City.Cottage .
It’s so cool. You have to check it out.
(Moved to 5 George Street, Bowmanville – September 2nd, 2009 – See new Blog)
Her prices are so reasonable and she does it all herself. Plus she is just lovely which adds to the adventure.
There are some samples on Kijiji. Here’s the link. Here’s Jenny’s Blog.
Some people are just so amazingly creative. Aren’t they?
Good luck to City Cottage in her exciting new endeavor.

3 commentsThat’s the way we’ve always done it.
Good Morning Everyone. Welcome to the TPC Blog.
It truly is a wonderful morning. God is Good. I was thinking we were having a rainy week but hopefully it will be a sunny one, especially on Canada Day.
I was falling asleep last night and I was thinking of what to blog about and I had this craving for Welchs Grape Juice. I mumbled something to Bobby about it as I was half asleep. Then I started smiling in my mind because I remembered a discussion with my sister about Welch’s Grape Juice.
I was at her house and she had some and I filled the glass half full and then went to fill the rest up with water. She looked at me strange. I said “what? we always did this I thought that’s how you make it”. She laughed and said we did that because we had no money growing up and that way it made it go farther. I took out a picture of myself (see below) and I didn’t look worse the wear for not having full strength Welch’s grape juice.
It was an enlightening day for me for a couple of reasons. One it tasted so much better full strength, two I didn’t remember having no money growing up and three it was like a light went on about what else I have kept myself back from and not enjoyed because of old ideas from my past.
Now when I drink Welch’s grape juice I feel abundant and rich.
It reminded me of that story about the roast. You know the one. The new bride is told to cut off both ends of the roast because she was taught that way and then when they go to the source of grandma they find out its because she had a small pan.
Here are a ton of these stories on “snopes”.
I guess I’m trying to say what is holding you (and me) back from limiting thoughts of things we are holding from our past. Things we have had passed down from family, things that are limiting us from past experiences, things from past lives, whatever keeps us from our dreams.
Let’s let them go now and see how high we can fly without them. Write down a dream that you have always wanted and ask yourself is there anything that is limiting me from achieving this dream. Post it somewhere so you can see it all the time. Every morning on the mirror, on the door in the bathroom, places you go every day. Make it happen. Remember to do it in present tense as our minds just go ahead and make things happen if we make it in the future we will never get it. Just go for it. “I am “whatever you want” “.
So that’s my little bit of inspiration for today for you.

Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” Steve Jobs
Thank you Steve you said everything I was trying to say.

1 commentSometimes I just have to Tell it Like it is.
Good Morning Everyone. Welcome to the TPC Blog. I hope today brings you great joy.
I have a confession to make. I did a coaching lesson with Paula from Art of Abundance (Which was amazing by the way. She helped me realize a few things I have to work on.) and based on what I wanted to change in my life I was supposed to be abstaining from the casino for 30 days and so far I’ve gone twice. Yesterday was my second time. My husband says I’ll give you money just come. He makes it very difficult to refuse.
I am looking at it differently though now. It’s just a fun time like a movie or something. Entertainment only. I think before I wanted to win not just have fun. Something inside me has definitely shifted.
So yesterday was fun I was there having a good ole’ time. I spent all Bobby’s money he gave me but I’m even ok with that.
I did have a strange adventure at the casino yesterday however and as it is blog worthy I thought I’d share.
There was an empty seat at a slot machine and I sat down and put in a receipt for $6.50. Then this older man who looked like he might not see too well said oh no I was supposed to watch that machine for this man while he went for a smoke. That’s fine. I told the guy to relax as he felt like he was a bit nervous about my doing this and he didn’t protect the machine.
It happens all the time. When the person comes back they usually reimburse you for your money or they come and take out your receipt. No biggy. I put up the chair so it wouldn’t happen to anyone else. I think there was $80 in there from the original guy who went for a smoke or whatever.
I kept a watch for him coming back and when he came back I said listen I put $6.50 in so you can give me $6.50 or we can call them to get out my receipt. In the meantime I had already spoken to one of the lovely people that pay you out about it.
Doesn’t this man say “too bad for you” (in a tone that made my skin crawl) “I had the chair up”. I knew in my heart and soul that this man was someone who always got his way especially around women and I was thinking “na not this time”.
I made my voice really low and said “firstly the chair was up because I put it up not you, secondly its my $6.50 not yours and I’ve already told the people at the casino, and thirdly I now tithe you the $6.50 for the lesson but I’m telling security. Whoa you should have seen him go off. I ended it with another few choice words which we won’t mention here. I went and told the lady what happened and she got security. I left the three of them all figuring it out. He was getting a lecture from security about leaving the machine etc. If looks could kill. I just smiled and walked away.
What is wrong with people sometimes. Oh I know it was a lesson for me too of not being so Pollyanna and living life like everyone is really nice. (Although I did read somewhere on one of Esther Hicks sites that “Pollyanna lived a really nice life”.) When did grown people lie about $6.50?
When I found Bobby and told him he was horrified. What? You are having fights at the casino? Ha ha. It was so funny. He did come to my rescue and said let’s go find the guy and get your $6.50. Always my hero. Of course I didn’t involve Bobby as the issue was already over for me. Well except for getting excited about how funny its going to look in my blog.
After my experience with this creepy person there were lots of other people who made my casino visit a happy one. It’s fun sometimes. Like the older man I sat beside who had 135 free games and we would laugh silly every time he got a new one. This made up for one bad apple.
There always has to be balance I guess. Good with the Bad.
Quotes for You:
“Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.” Helen Keller
When looking for quotes I found these two by J J Dewey which kind of touched me so I will share with you:
“Darkness is dispelled by shining a light on a problem, not by casting additional darkness on its path.” J J Dewey
“You can shine a light and dispel darkness, but you cannot shine “dark” and dispel light.” J J Dewey
Very wise.
I promise to stay out of trouble …. Until we meet again, Sharon
