WOW What a Day!
Howdy my Peeps!
What’s cooking?
Such a fun day. It was so unexpected. Bobby and I had to go get emission tests on our cars (I was nervous Daisy wouldn’t pass but she passed with flying colours), as well as oil changes, snow tires off, etc then we had to head to the license bureau to renew the stickers.
Thinking it was a good $500 or more day we headed out.
After paying out for the cars, stickers, etc. we peeked into the casino and guess what Bobby won $650 at the casino! OO la la it was great!
So our expensive day turned out to be a free day! It doesn’t get better than that!
We even had extra for a nice lunch out!
Life is good!

No commentsCommanding My Morning
Good Morning Everyone!!!!!
Here I go again I’m starting an exercise routine. I realized I’m far from a runner so joining Bobby on that adventure isn’t really possible.I thought I need something that will get me going.
How my new exercise has started is that I found this book called “Command Your Morning” by Cindy Trimm and in it she has a many page prayer as you will that takes when spoken about l/2 hour. Sometimes I don’t get around to it so I thought well what about if I walked with it every morning.
There is a wonderful poem or saying it and I’ll write it here:
“The Essence of a New Day
This is the beginning of a new day.
You have been given this day to use as you will.
You can waste it or use it for good.
What you do today is important.
Because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever.
In its place is something that you have left behind….
Let it be something good.” Author Unknown
Isn’t that kind of cool! True too! I remember reading something that said each night you should review your day and see if you will do anything different tomorrow.
So off I went for my l/2 hour walk this morning listening to my Command Your Morning poem (I put it on my little mp3 machine so it was a little easier than reading it as I walked because we all know I would have been calling Bobby to get my out of the ditch because I tripped over something or other.
So wish me luck on this one! I’ll keep you posted.

Am I scaring you that I am writing so much? You can get used to it I think the problem is fixed!
Sooooo welcome everyone!
I was reading a booked which I think is called the Weird Sisters or something and I read the words Butterfly Minded and I thought what a wonderful way of describing what I feel like sometimes.
Sometimes I just feel like I cannot stay grounded and like my head is in the clouds or in spirit all the time and it is very hard for me to do things that take the ability to keep my feet on the ground.
When I lived my other life as a para legal by day and psychic by night it was easy as the legal job kept me grounded (some of the time) and that really helped.
Now that I’m doing psychic full time its really crazy.
The hardest part is keeping track of my appointments. I get so confused when talking to people and because I’m booking so in advance of myself it gets really crazy.
Thank God for Jester’s Court and Angela’s Spa who book their own appointments otherwise I would be in the clouds looking down.
I like the term “Butterfly Minded” its much better than the words “Losing my Mind”.

2 commentsHappy 48th Birthday To Bobby
Welcome Everyone.
Today is my husband Bobby’s 48th birthday!
Wow what a trip!
I wanted to take a moment to tell him what a sweetheart he is and how so totally proud I am of him in all that he has done.
The one thing that stands out more than others is his determination when he wants something. Did you know that at one time Bobby weighed about 330 pounds today he is about 180 or something.
It all started because he couldn’t pass a physical test for an interview at work with running and a few words from a nasty judgmental man who was probably his Earth Angel about his weight.
Here is the blog I did for his first marathon.
You can see what he looked like before! I love him either way but I’m glad that he is much healthier now of course. Happier too!
Today Bobby has done so many races and marathons I can’t count but that box of metals is getting heavier and heavier. Today he trains for an Ultra Marathon (50 kl) and the Tough Mudder! Who’d of thunk.
Way to go Bobby and Thank you for being you! I love you!

Hi Everyone.
Major problems with my blog (well my laptops). My wonderful web designer, Mouth Media, told me to switch to firefox for the blog and I think its going to work! yippy!
So I’m back…..again.
I hope everyone is doing great. I missed you terribly.
I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching which comes easy to me but hard in a way that my mind opens twenty doors at once.
I’m sending out a newsletter in the next few days (promise) so I will tell you about what I’ve found.
Lots of new things happening. I’m working on a new website called “Sugarmoon Cottage” and I’m totally pumped about that. It’s going to be the central place for all my adventures.I found a wonderful cartoon fellow on Fiverr who I will share with you also! He’s helping me with images for the site.
Here is the wonderful new one he did for psychic cottage:
Isn’t it cute! I’ll give you his information in the newsletter. Don’t want to temp fate with my new blog here in case it goes off on a tangent by putting in a link.
I’ll give you a hint as to the work I have been seeking.

Isn’t the winter an odd one. It is great with the weather but it has a feeling of are we in winter or not and it feels extremely LONG. I guess spring will be here before we know it.
So I was in the wonderful Port Perry before Christmas and I found the following salt and pepper shakers and wanted to show you them.
I just had to have them. Aren’t they cute? I’m not sure if I’m thinking I’ll try anything to save my cooking or it just adds fun,
I know now you all want them don’t you? I can’t remember the name of the store but it is on the same side as Tweed and Hickory just down a bit. A huge store and they have purses and kitchen stuff. If I see the name today I’ll fix it in this blog.
It’s a bit hard to get the salt and pepper in there without a small little funnel but I just used a bowl under it and poured it in and it worked.
Hope this blog finds everyone well. Don’t forget about the Ajax psychic fair below and keep on keeping on.

No commentsBread you Can’t Forget
Hi Everyone.
When I was at the Violet Door this last weekend I noticed that they carry “wood-fired Hearth Bread” now!.
It is only on Saturday’s apparently and it is so yummy!
I got the Rye one.
It was hilarious because I was thinking as it was still hot how I’m going to get it home without eating it all and Joanne said oh just put it in a plastic bag later in the day to keep it fresh! It will be fresh all right because I’ll be eating it within the hour!
When I got home and Bobby and I started into it (yes I didn’t touch it on the drive home) we couldn’t stop! I was slopping butter on it and Bobby had peanut butter!
I think it was the longest we have ever stood in the kitchen (lol) in a while pigging out on our bread.
Is it Saturday yet? I want some more!

No commentsFriday the 13th
Good morning everyone!
I hope the world is treating you the wonderful way you are meant to be treated! yippy! Life is good sometimes isn’t it?
I had a rude awakening this morning which made me realize that it was February the 13th real fast.
As you know I have been following Ellen Whitehurst’s many fun things to do and one of the things she says is to get a red sheet and put it between the mattress to create a wonderful relationship! Now Bobby and I already have an amazing relationship but when I saw those sexy red satin sheets at wallmart I said why not and I thought it was a sign too!
Now I don’t know if you have even slept on satin sheets but they are really cold and slippery!
The cashier at wallmart said oh I could never use those as my feet are so rough that I would have a constant noise going on at which time Bobby and I looked at each other with the thought “too much information” on our minds.
We braved on and bought them anyway.
Now we are flannel people, we really are. The warmer the better so this took some getting used to. I believe in Ellen and we still have them on the bed. Not sure what I’m going for as I’m already married to an Aries (wink wink) but I thought it would be fun!
Now Bobby goes to work REALLY early so usually this isn’t a problem but this morning I decided to get up earlier and our house is very small so the bed takes up most of the bedroom so the bed is against the wall. I get up and roll over Bobby only to put my knee on the satin sheet and bonk right on the ground. I just missed poor Bandit!
Startled the h*ll out of me, Bobby jumped up thinking he had to go to the hospital with me, Bandit had a look of relief on his face and he knew what would have happened should I have landed on him! I was perfectly fine thank goodness but I truly am contemplating putting the red sheet in between the bed as she suggested and putting the ole’ flannels back on! It’s just safer!
Then doesn’t Bobby on his way to work whack his head on a shelf we have!
So all in all I have to say that we have already had our Friday the 13th for 2012 and for the rest of the day only good comes to us now!
OMgoodness when looking for quotes for Friday 13th I found the following!
“If you have 13 letters in your name you will have the devils luck. Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Theodore Bundy and Albert De Salvo all have 13 letters in their names.” Unknown
It didn’t sit too well because my name and my husband’s name both have13 letters! yikes! Ha Ha. Just yanking your chain. I don’t believe that at all.
I only have God’s Luck and I have the wonderful Archangel Michael to support my path! Kind of interesting though isn’t it? Makes you think.
Ok here’s your quote as promised:
“If you change your bed on Friday 13th you will have bad dreams throughout the night.” Unknown.
Well that solves it its red silk sheets another night I guess.
Until we meet again, Sharon
3 commentsMoney Magnet and Clutter
Hi Everyone!
I’m sorry I have been having trouble with my blog again. One of my laptops doesn’t like writing on this blog and I don’t know why so I have to go back and forth. Now I know it truly doesn’t work on the Dell and I’m going to use the HP always for this.
It’s been a very busy few days of the year and I have to share something with you that I know you are going to freak out about!
OK it takes a bit of work but if you push yourself there are things that will happen that will blow your socks off!
Looking back it started a while ago how I found this course which by the way only costs $1.00! Well I paid $25 because I didn’t notice the sliding scale but hey. Story of my life I get all excited and forget about everything.
Some time ago I had a client who had a business and I was walking around (for some odd reason) with my lucky three horse feng shui doo dad in my purse. I said to her as spirit said to do so give her this. So I did. Then she magically said “ahh that is what Ellen Whitehurst talks about. Never one to let grass grow under my feet when a fun opportunity comes along I’m like “who”? .
I went home and ordered everything off her site including some amazing wealth oil.
OK fast track to today or at least 9 days ago. There is this course that Ellen Whitehurst offers called 27 days to being a Money Magnet.
Here’s the link 27 Days to Money magnet on Daily Om.
This course is such fun and has really changed how I think about money. Sure we all want it but what do we really want when we get it?
It helps you write out what you are going to look like when you have oodles of money and how you are going to feel while along the way setting up some mighty adventures to get there.
My dear friend Carolyn (who doesn’t mind walking through crazyland with me) and I did it together and I’m so glad because there is one day I had to work and she was the one who went on the wild goose chase gathering all the stuff. I think it is day 5 when you have to make a wealth jar with these things in it that are kind of difficult to get. It takes a lot of time sometimes but so worth it.
Let’s just say on Tuesday while I was standing at Jester’s Court I was asking all the guys in the bar if any of them were rich and if I could have some change from their pocket…..! you get the story. Strange those one guy just took a quarter out of his pocket and gave it to me.
There are symbols and baths and so many fun things to do. Right up my Alley. I haven’t had this much fun in a long long time!
Couple things I’m a little weirded out about. I get nervous when asking for money as I don’t want 99 year old aunt clara to go to the forever after if you get my drift. I find myself adding a little saying after like “with harm to none” or “in everyone’s divine best interest”. I’m not sure if that takes things longer to get here but better safe than sorry.
Also I read somewhere that certain herbs when used in a bath or on yourself should not be used by pregnant women so I would check on that one if you are preggers!
Also, I was taught never to use a red pen as it brings in negative money energy (in the red) and always use a green pen. Ellen says write in red always! I had to do a few shifts around that one.
That’s it.
If you stop it you have to start all over again! Yikes. They say day 7 is the hardest for stopping but we marched right through.
It’s not for everyone but it truly should be as I feel like I’ve given all my heaviness about money to the Universe and I’m ready to allow everything in.
The one thing that really struck a cord is something I’ve wanted to start for a long time. I’m doing a website to sell off all my “stuff”. Clutter has been a part of my life since I can’t remember and I really don’t care about most of it. It’s old, its stale, its keeping me back. Watch for this wonderful website that is coming up and new blog and if you want to be part of this adventure as it grows make sure you sign up for the newsletter.
Or if you are a clutter person yourself write to me at psychiccottage@hotmail.com and let me know if you are itnerested in joining a group to discuss how to get rid of clutter in 2012.
They say psychics have the worst clutter ever! makes sense.
There is also 27 days to true love which I’m sure would interest a lot of people!
So that’s it. Happy New Year. I’m sorry my last blog acted all weird and let’s go out there and make life happen! I’m in.

The less you have, the more free you are.”
