Divine Travels of the Ha Ha Sisterhood – Day Four – Part One

October 18th, 2010 | Category: Cape Breton Holiday 2010,Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Friends. What a wonderful time of year. I hope you are enjoying it. Blessings to you.

Today we head into Baddeck. Check out this clever sign.

Before leaving Cheticamp Diane and I stopped in a hand rug museum and I had an opportunity to work on one of the rugs. Apparently everyone works on it and then one lucky person wins it when its finished. It was fun. I hope I win. Here’s a picture of me so into it. (Scuz’ the yucky hair roots, lol. I was thinking of going gray but it wasn’t working. Hey maybe that’s why the hubs bought me a hat and then gave me money for a new doo?)

Baddeck was the favorite place of Alexander Graham & Mable Bell. Here’s Diane and I having a little visit with them.

We stayed at the Telegraph House in the actual room that Alex & Mable stayed before building their mansion.

Here’s a picture of their estate.

Stay tuned for Part Two when we feed the Eagles and try and contact the Bells! Even a new youtube video for you!

Taco Celebration!

October 15th, 2010 | Category: Gems Along the Way,Musings by Sharon

Good Day Everyone. What’s cookin’ ?

Last night I shared the evening with my sons for Peter’s birthday and I made Tacos. It’s the only thing I can cook that anyone will eat.

Funny part is the first thing they said is do you have beer? No but I have gingerbread men. Who knew Bobby was right.

It was a great success.

Here’s a picture of the three of us. Bobby had to work so missed the party

Here’s a picture of Michael and Peter acting up and their friend Arsh.

These boys crack me up. Too much fun.

Love you Boys and thank you all for being you.

I’m just heading out to a psychic party and they said to wear Orange & Black! (If only it was a pink party I would be set.) Yikes I’m not sure what its about but I’m bringing a camera. You never know when Blog material will pop up.

Gingerbread Men or Beer

October 13th, 2010 | Category: Gems Along the Way,Musings by Sharon

Good afternoon dear friends. I hope this delicious day is treating you kindly.

Bobby and I were out today and visited a Tim’s for my daily pumpkin spice muffin fix and I saw these jolly three gingerbread men. I was so excited and said Bobby I have to get those to give to the kids when I go for the birthday party tomorrow. The extra can go to their friend Arsh.

Bobby looked at me and said “Sharon Peter turned 29 yesterday are you sure they wouldn’t prefer a case of beer or something”. Isn’t that hilarious? I still think of them as my little boys who love gingerbread men.

I bought them anyway because I can live in my la la land as long as I want to. The funny part is they will love it.

When has a happy face ever steered anyone wrong.

Happy Birthday Peter!

October 12th, 2010 | Category: Gems Along the Way,Musings by Sharon

Good Day Everyone. Welcome to The Psychic Cottage Blog.

Today is my first born Son’s birthday. I can’t believe he is 29. OMG where did the time go.

Peter is such a sweet guy. He definitely marches to his own drum and he’s a handsome devil. Here he is.

Charm seems to pour out of him in a very elegant way and he is kind and generous. He learned how to be charming even at a young age. I remember when he was very young he would kiss me goodbye in front of the girls because he knew that made the girls love him more.

He’s been through a lot in his life and doesn’t carry that energy in a negative way but more of a way of knowing and appreciating where he’s at.

He surely likes the best of everything. I always joke and say it was because his Zia watched him when he was young and she loves the best of everything too.

Peter has a style all his own and he’s smart as a whip. Even at a young age he could figure out numbers in his head which I’m sure came from another place. I’d be sitting there with a calculator figuring something out not very successfully and he would tell me the answer from his head. The odds and order of numbers seemed and is still a natural innate gift of his.

I am so happy and proud of him and I’m very blessed that he chose me as his Mom in this lifetime.

I love you Pete. Thank you for Being you.

What a Sweetheart My Husband Is

October 10th, 2010 | Category: Gems Along the Way,Musings by Sharon

Hello Everyone. Welcome.

Today when I went to the fleamarket to do readings I was surprised when Irene said your first client is in there already.

I thought that’s weird. Then when I went into the little booth Bobby was in there with a dozen pink roses.

Isn’t that adorable?

I was so excited that he thought of doing that for me.

Here’s a picture of me in my new hat he bought for me yesterday. Isn’t it cool? We got it at Tweed & Hickory in Port Perry when we went to get our coffee. I want to be rich enough to buy all my clothes there. Oo la la. They have beautiful things.

Here’s a picture of the flowers. So pretty.

He truly is a Sweetheart that husband of mine.

Love you Bobby and thank you for being you.

October 10th, 2010 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Good Morning Everyone. What a lovely day. Cool and crisp.

Did you know today is October 10, 2010? 10/10/10!

How cool is that? Apparently it is quite a happy day and a lot of people are getting married today as it represents a “power” couple.

Very interesting.

Happy 10 10 10 day everyone. Next year we get November 11, 2011. 11/11/11.

Lucky Cat

October 08th, 2010 | Category: Musings by Sharon

Hello Dear Friends. Welcome to The Psychic Cottage.

I have this very “gaudy” lucky cat to bring abundance into our home. It looks at the door all day and its little gold arm moves up and down doing its job.

In the last few weeks we have dropped him on his head a few times (I thought it would be a good idea to have him behind the door, not)  and as a result his little arm has been standing still. I’m not sure if it is subconscious or what but it seemed that all our money went on “hold”.

After a week of this and our not being able to get to the flea market to get another lucky cat we did a little operation on him, added new batteries, a bit of tape and pushed the bottom in a bit he seems to be working again.

What happened right away was I won $20 on a lottery ticket so I know I’m in the flow like normal. It’s been so dead for this last week it was such a relief to know that the pendulum has turned.

I do love my lucky cat.

Jenny Shares Her Light

October 07th, 2010 | Category: Gems Along the Way,Musings by Sharon

Hey Everyone.

It’s a very cool day. I don’t know what is up but the energy is just hopping. I love it. I feel like I want to take on a project but I don’t know what that project is.

Jenny from The City Cottage store did the best blog. It was written from deep within her heart and truly I believe that tons of healing took place (for her and others) from not only what she wrote but what others wrote.

I can’t tab on specifically to that blog but it is October 4th, 2010. Here’s the link to Jenny’s Blog.

Is Rilo not adorable?

I was suprised that it took 17 comments for someone claiming to be one of the chosen few to come on and comment but they came. I totally love what Jenny wrote.

You go Girl! Love you tons. Thank you for being you!

Divine Travels of the Ha Ha Sisterhood – Day Three – Part Three

October 07th, 2010 | Category: Cape Breton Holiday 2010,Musings by Sharon

Top of the Morning to you dear Friends. Our Creator has provided us with another splendid day for us to enjoy.

So in this one we are heading back from Pleasant Bay and just coming into Cheticamp when I saw the most beautiful house I have ever seen in my life. If I could envision The Psychic Cottage this is exactly how I would want it to be. Are you ready?

I even love the jeep. It’s adorable.

I really wanted to go up and meet the person who owned it. Next time I go I will get up the nerve to do that. You know they have to be happy people.

So that’s it the end of day three.
