We Shared Our Love of Pink Purses.

November 01st, 2008 | Category: Gems Along the Way,Ponderings

Hello my Friends. Welcome.

This blog is a little bit of a reflective one.

I met someone a couple of weeks ago and she has touched me yet I didn’t really even know her.

I went to a get together at Arianna’s in Oshawa and I had my pink roots purse. When I walked in Irene said to a lady at her shop “Check out Sharon’s purse”. This woman’s name was Pat. I talked to her briefly, had a chuckle with her and then spoke to her again at the end of the night when she was buying her own pink purse. Her energy was lovely and she was very kind.

Last Thursday when I went to Psychic Night I found out that this lovely lady Pat had passed over in a car accident a few days after we met. A drunk driver.

Even though I didn’t really know her I have felt this overwhelming sense of loss.

I have since read in the newspaper that she was an amazing woman. She spent her life dedicated to making the world a better place. A teacher, a Mother, a Green Party member, the list went on and on. What will the world be like when we have lost someone so special?

Here’s a quote for you.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”  ~From a headstone in Ireland

God Bless you Pat and to your Family and Friends my Heartfelt Sympathy.

Until we meet Again, Sharon.

Law of Attraction and Janis Joplin

October 22nd, 2008 | Category: Musings by Sharon,Ponderings

My Dearest Friends. Welcome to the TPC blog.

So I was standing in my laundry room this morning not wanting to think about why I got the messy gene and I burst into song which isn’t always pretty especially when Janis Joplin jumps in my head.

I just can’t seem to get the wiggly voice thing going but I was trying hard. I’m not sure why she popped into my head, maybe it was because it was this month that she passed 38 years ago. Can you believe it?

So I’m singing along:

Oh Lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz...”

♪ ♫

and I get to the colour TV part when I realize that “by Golly” Janis had the whole Law of Attraction thing going on.

She’s asking, she’s waiting and she’s acting as if. WOW Janis I knew when I looked at your picture in the Rainbow Restaurant in Oshawa beside our seat that you were ahead of your time. The world just wasn’t ready for you was it?

So blessings to you my dear Janis. I’m sure you are cranking up the music in Heaven with my Mom in the front row. Light a candle for me Mom.

A Janis Quote for you:

Don’t compromise yourself. You are all you’ve got.”  Janis Joplin

Until we meet again, Sharon.
