Gems Along the Way – Dorothy and Terry
Hello Friends. Welcome to the TPC Blog.
In my life I have been truly blessed with so many friends. They come into my life all the time. It’s like I know them from another time another place.
I have two special friends in my life that are going through their own little challenges right now and I wanted to introduce them to you and maybe you can send them some good thoughts and light.
Dorothy is my Earth Mom. I talked a bit about her in my blog on Mothers’ Day. She’s going through a bit of a time right now in the hospital. She is a wise soul. Very ahead of her time. We met many years ago when I took a workshop of hers. We bonded right away and actually went away a few weeks later together to Indiana to go to a Spiritualist Community. I remember her saying when she got in my new little Suzucki Sidekick convertible that she was worried because I could have been a bit crazy and yet here she was trusting herself to be away with me for a week. I said hey I could say the same thing. We have had many a laugh and surely have had discussions that would raise many an eyebrow. I do not see her enough as my life gets busy and now she is in the hospital I feel a bit empty for not making the time. I know she will be fine. The world was meant to be one with her in it. Especially as we near 2012. I just wanted to make a special place on my blog for her for her healing.
Another friend is going through something. Her name is Terry. I work with Terry and when we met it was the oddest thing we liked everything the same. We were either opposites or exactly the same. It’s like holding up a mirror. I remember at work when they couldn’t find anyone I did a little one of my “spells” for them to find someone. Who knew it would be someone for me. A new friend that would make my life at work a fun one and make my life so much richer by her being in it. We almost finish each others sentences. She is having chemo at Princess Margaret and I wanted to wish her the best of luck and send her tons of blessings and healings.
God’s Blessings to both of you my Friends.

No commentsAhhhh Acupuncture.
The TPC Blog welcomes you back.
I wanted to tell you about my exciting adventure. I finally went and had acupuncture done.
I’ve always wanted to go but never had the guts. Finally I made the big decision.
The needles were nothing but the experience was amazing.
I went to Debbie at the Spiral Turtle in Keswick. She just oozes healing energy so I knew I was in good hands.
You lie down on the table and she puts the needles in and she said that I would feel the energy go around my body. I had my doubts as I thought I would feel nothing then she put the needles in this spot above my ankle and it started. It was the weirdest thing. It was little rivers of energy starting at my feet and then it starts swirling all over me. It went up and slowing went all through my body. I remember it swirling around my third eye and under my jaw and teeth. It was beautiful. It felt so good.
The needles which I could not feel going in would all of a sudden heat up at different times. It didn’t hurt but it was odd.
I totally loved it and I’m going again as soon as I can. You should try it!
She does face lift Acupuncture too. I might try it. If I do I will post before and after pictures on the blog and you can judge for yourself. I always wanted to do a before and after picture.
Quote for you.
“When health is absent Wisdom cannot reveal itself, Art cannot become manifest, Strength cannot be exerted, Wealth is useless and Reason is powerless.”

(Whoa eh?)

Good Morning Everyone.
It’s another raining day here in Ontario. It’s funny our dog Bandit is usually scared like crazy of thunder and lightening but even he is getting used to it as it’s becoming a daily event for the summer. That’s ok we appreciate the sunshine when it comes so much more.
As you know I do adore Venus Andrecht and I was looking at Venus’ Blog today and it has such a message for all of us. I wanted everyone to get a chance to read it if they don’t normally go there.
Have a read you will be glad you did. She is right everyone has a story. We forget that sometimes when we are looking in from our eyes.
My friend Heather always says that her Mother taught her to never be around people that are “envious” it only invites bad energy. She is so right.
I wish Heather’s Mom was here today as Heather always comes out with these wise things from her Mother. Looking back I wish I listened (and took notes) to so many of the “wise women” from my past.
So if you get a chance give yourself the gift of going onto Venus’ Blog
I couldn’t decide which quote was better so you get two:

1 commentLittle Beam of Light.
Hi my Friends. Welcome back to the TPC blog. I hope this day finds you happy.
I had a client the other day and the woman brought her daughter. I won’t use names to protect their privacy but I have to tell you if there are children like her walking around today I have total faith in the fate of our planet.
I don’t hang out much with kids for any reason. Mine are all grown and I hear stories of how the children of today need instant gratification and need bigger and better things as quickly as possible and I’ve always thought that this was just general hype . Sometimes I think what’s lacking and what they are testing for is the structure that we had as kids whether it be religion or boundaries. It is a different era now.
Much to my delight though I met this little 14 year old girl and I tell you I was face to face with a very old wise soul. The way she looked, the way she talked, her approach to life, everything. I was talking to her like God just dropped her off on earth and she wanted to have a chat about how to make it here on earth without standing out too much.
I was totally blown away from this. Esther Hicks says something about how our children are coming down computer ready but except for my own children I’ve never sat down and chatted with one before about their spiritual values.
This gifted little child of 14 just oozed light and love and it wasn’t like she was insecure for feeling different. It was like she was sitting there showing me what I should be like.
I’ve never witnessed this before right in front of me. She gave me this feeling of yes Sharon everything is going to be ok.
I guess I wanted to say that before dismissing the children of today and lumping them in one big judgmental theory lets look at them as our hope for tomorrow. Maybe just maybe they are our biggest teachers.
God Bless you my Little Beam of Light.

No commentsSigns, Swans and Serendipity
Hi Everyone. Welcome Back to the TPC Blog.
I know what you are all thinking why Swans I thought she was a Goose. This Swan adventure has nothing to do with my Goose Syndrome. This has to do with my new sign at my office.
I love marketing and signs and anything that is cute. Ideas are always jumping in my head like popcorn so I really should have had marketing as my mundane job. I think I would have been good at it. I guess it’s never too late but I’m way too tired to take on another job of the mundane type. I know boring…. does she ever stop complaining this one?
Anyway…..my sign is the best sign. It is so beautiful. If you get a chance pop by and see it at my office at 19 Scugog Street in Bowmanville. I’m only there by appointment so I probably won’t be there to say hi but you can see my sign nonetheless.
One of the other tenants offered me this sign spot and I was totally elated. Like how cool is that right? Opportunities don’t come our way like that every day. People can be so sweet can’t they. Thank you Heather for letting me use your sign. (Heather operates Advanced Nails in Bowmanville.) You’re the best.
Given this opportunity I then went out to try and find someone to design my sign. I don’t know how many people have ever tried to buy a sign but it was a hard adventure. I thought it would be so easy and everyone would be as excited as I was. Not the case. Most people would just say send me the size and what you want and we’ll give you a quote. Hello? If I wanted to do all the work I wouldn’t be calling you. I thought maybe I was repeating a pattern like when I told my friend Kaleigh what I wanted in my website she said Sharon “Million Dollar Idea on a Beer Budget” (considering I don’t touch alcohol this was making me a bit nervous). She was right but eventually with Mouth Media’s and my gifted illustrator’s help (who are both the best in the business by the way) it was accomplished. It’s probably a little complicated for most people who zoom through life at lightening speed and don’t have the patience to wait for the butterfly but personally I love it and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Do you think I will ever learn to stay on topic in my blogs?
(One more diversion here…I think my friends, family and husband are happy I have a blog that way I don’t have to bore them with my stories. I see their eyes gloss over they aren’t fooling me.)
So my heart is broken as time is a wasting and no sign. Not even a prospect. Like I always do I surrendered it up and asked for the right person to come to me. A few days later I’m talking to my sister-in-law Kimmi and I said just thinking out loud I need a sign. I’m so frustrated. Kimmi said try Swan Signs they’re the best.
Yippy! I was so excited because I knew that this was the one. I called and Carol was so wonderful. She surely went out of her way to make everything work. She went to the site a few times. Did all the measurements. Put in the sign. Coached me with what to put on. I even ordered one for my upstairs window which fit perfectly! They are both gorgeous.
The funny part was that she quotes James 3:17 from the Bible on her site which is a beautiful verse by the way. As soon as I read that I thought oh great I find the perfect person and she’s going to not deal with me because I’m a psychic (I think I have past life witch issues here) and she’s like in the first email. I’d love to do your sign.
As my friend Heather always says when something happens “God is Good”.
Now The Psychic Cottage has the best signs that ever existed. I even heard my son say to someone “Mom’s sign is sick”. At first I thought oh no my sign is sick and then I remember” sick is good”. Oh ya Mom is cool for once. (It must be hard to have a Psychic for a Mom. My son said the other day “Mom I think your Seratonin is too high and that’s why you see things”. Kids gotta love them. )
Here’s my blog quote:
“Serendipity is putting a quarter in the gumball machine and having three pieces come rattling out instead of oneāall red.” – Peter H. Reynolds
Amen Brother on that one.

No commentsGems Along the Way with Tony
Hello Everyone. Welcome back to the TPC Blog.
Today’s Bloggee doesn’t even know he’s on my Blog.
The reason I picked Tony is because when I talk to him I realize there are teachers and angels every step of the way.
I strive to live my life just like Tony.
Tony works with me at my mundane job. He is a jack of all trades from cleaning to making sure everything gets done which he does to perfection.
He is kind, humble and considerate and always has a smile for those days you need one.
I can’t really tell Tony this blog is for him as I’m not sure if he would be horrified with what my sideline is. I’m thinking he is very religious in a structured sense. I asked him once if he was a Buddhist because he appears to be one and he said no and smiled.
Whenever I see Tony I say “Tony how are you today.” His answer is always one of profound wisdom although I’m not sure he sees it that way.
He says my life is perfect. I would never complain about anything. I am grateful for everything I have and that my family have their health.
Can you imagine being that wise? Just letting all the little things go so that you entrust the universe with your day to day happiness?
Tony does get to drive around in our bosses hot car (really hot) and take it places for maintenance and things. I said to Tony yesterday when he was getting out of it. “Tony nice wheels”. Tony said “It is isn’t it.” We got into a big conversation about it and he said “If I had it I would sell it and get a nice new deck on my house or a trip somewhere”.
Here’s to you Tony my Friend. May you touch as many souls as you can in this lifetime and may abundance follow you everywhere so you can get both the trip and your new deck. My lips to God’s ears.
Here’s a Quote:
“When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the morning light, for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food, and the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies with yourself.”- Tecumseh, Shawnee Chief

No commentsGems Along the Way with Judith.
Hello Friends. Welcome back to the TPC Blog.
Today’s Bloggee for Along the Way is my new Friend and Teacher Judith who operates Royle Treatment Wellness in Keswick.
In the short time I have known her she has helped me move forward on my path using her wonderful connection to Spirit and vast knowledge in the healing field. I trusted her immediately to work on me and have total faith in her ability to keep me safe. She moves through her work with a gentleness and Grace that is hard to come by.
I had the honour of taking a course with her and she is a wonderful Teacher. Although Judith travels throughout the year, she can do any of her work from a distance, it doesn’t matter whether she is in Sedona or Newfoundland. Be sure to check out her website.
Here is Judith’s Gem of Wisdom for all to share:
“During our day of learning together and from each other, an interesting discussion ensued. We talked about how important it is that we believe in ourselves and have confidence in our ability to be of service to others. We also speculated as to what holds us back at times from “standing in our light”.
A message from Spirit was quick to respond.
“Remember, Dear Ones, the emotion of fear is the root of all blocked energy. Your power ends where your fear begins.” ”
She’s good eh?
Here’s a quote that made me think of Judith and all she has done for me:
“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” William Ward
Thank you Judith for being my Inspiration.
Until we meet again, Sharon
No commentsAlong the Way with my guest Despina.
Welcome back to the TPC Blog.
Along the Way is something I thought would be fun. I ask friends and people I meet on my path to write a small paragraph of something they’ve learned from their life so far and want to share. That one Gem of Wisdom that they feel is the most important they would share if they could.
Our Bloggee today is a good friend of mine Despina. She is a very giving person. She always thinks of others. Actually when I asked her for her Gem she sent me the following testimonial:
“The first thing I noticed about Sharon was that she exuded kindness, and I immediately felt safe while in her company. When I say safe, I mean I knew she as not judging when she listened to you and she would always give you her full attention. She in a sense awakened my spirituality which I am forever grateful. I had always been religious but had struggled with spirituality. I thank God for the gift of Sharon in my life, she is always so generous of herself and her wisdom.”
I was totally touched by this gift she sent and in the meantime she must have realized how Along the Path works and sent the following:
“My best advice to all who are going through difficult times, be your own best friend. The most simple advice but very effective is if a friend came to you with a similar problem what would you tell them? Your advice for others you love should be the same for yourself. We always forget to be supportive and kind to ourselves.” Blessings Despina
This is great advice for all of us to learn. Sometimes we are so busy fixing everyone around us that we forget about ourselves.
Thank you my dear Friend for your wisdom. If anyone is reading this and wants to be a part of Along the Way, please send me a little about yourself and your Gem of Wisdom. I have many Gems to post but I’m sure I can get to everyone eventually.
I will leave you with this quote:
“The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely.” Carl Jung
