Hi Everyone. How are you? The weather is so beautiful today its almost like its summer! Just kidding.<\/p>\n
So my son and I are parked at a Timmies today and no one is there and I mean no one. The parking lot is empty. I ran in to pee because it just seems like I can’t wait as long as I used to. I ran in and my Son and I were thinking about where to go for lunch (Timmies was only used for a pit stop) when bam. This guy hits the driving side of Daisy.<\/p>\n
I’m thinking the whole parking lot is empty he pulls in the one beside us and even though there is a huge handicapped spot empty beside him to maneuver he finds it necessary to smash his van into Daisy.<\/p>\n
I looked at my Son and thought am I really understanding this to be true? Like? Hello<\/em>?<\/p>\n To top it out the guy gets out and has an attitude. If he came out and said hey man I’m sorry here I would have just said ok you know what its just a scratch, Daisy is old, I’m cool. He acted like it was his right to smash into my car with me and my Son in it. To make matters worse he had kids in the car.<\/p>\n I said to the lady when she got out obvious to all this “you hit my car who does that?”. She’s like don’t look at me do I look like I’m driving?<\/p>\n Alrighty then. Then the guy acts like I inconvenienced him? I don’t even think I had my car even going? He didn’t notice we were even in the car and I noticed he tried to back out fast but I opened the door.<\/p>\n So we exchange stuff. He’s all attitude. He’s like so call the cops what do you want… ya I’m with TD insurance. Just call them. Ok then I’ll call and ask for your representative. I’m sure they will put me right through. After all you seem to believe you are the centre of the Universe here.<\/p>\n How crazy is that?<\/p>\n So they say you get in an accident when the universe wants to shove you in another direction so I guess my Son and I just needed a little shove to the right.<\/p>\n Daisy is fine and will recover and my Son and I had the best lunch at Nandos after. I’ve never been there and it was hot but good. We were both shaking our heads like it didn’t really happen.<\/p>\n So that was my day.
