So I did it. I joined the Running Room (under protest) to learn to run. Yikes.<\/p>\n
It was so scary. I went my first time this morning. Walk two minutes, run one minute. Sounds easy but I tell you I had my moments. I’m not sure if it was my asthma protesting but my lungs felt like they were a vice. I did it (well I did stop half way in one of the minutes) but I’m very proud of myself.<\/p>\n
I knew the present of my new running shoes was a trick that my husband bought me. He’s training for a Marathon and has been trying to get me out running for\u00a0forever.<\/p>\n
The neat part is when we were running this huge monarch flew by me and I knew it was my Mom. If you want to read the blog about what I’m talking about here go to this blog<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n At the end of the course we do a 5K run for Cancer. I’m too excited about that. Everyone dresses in pink. I found my pink wig or maybe I might even get a strip of my hair done pink. Why not? It will remind me of how lucky I am.<\/p>\n Yippy!
